Sweet story, but NEVER EVER touch or take home any MARMOTS or ground squirrils from Russia or Central Asia. No little critters. Do NOT touch. No, No, No!

They can give you the plague. ESPECIALLY the MARMOTS.

Even Western oil workers in those areas need to be careful and listen to what the Russians say about plague. They know and you don't. They have had a good system for controlling it. Their plage is much worse than what we have in Colorado, etc.

Central Asian Marmot plague is the most dangerous as it can affect the lungs, overwelm the immune system before you feel sick and bacn--you're dead. This plague can be spread from person to person--no fleas needed.

Never go near Marmots. Never touch them. Never eat them.

The same Russians who erradicated smallpox from the face of the earth also messed around with weaponizing plague.
