it was a miracle we got the creep out
I thought when we did we'd move instantly into totally enlightened government
I still think it's our destiny -- it was such an all or nothing situation we were up against
doing the right thing was the only way we could save ourselves
it's prolly natural, after we're safe to think we can go back to the old way
but my hunch is once we start on that path to enlightenment there is no going back
not for individuals, not for countries
these are prolly ''developing times''

hi sweetie
I agree with you
I think the liberating thing 'bout the internet is there are no images
we meet mind to mind
it frees us all from the body (the image)
and makes things more real

Gosh, I hate writing out checks for bills...we usually leave that to one morning week...I dont mind spending the money, I just hate having to do all that writing, and keeping all my stubs and such in order...just a pain in the butt...have a good walk, and check writing session, and hurry back...

westy grew up in Idaho
he said when the Indians were passing thru his brother joined them
his mom had to go to the Indian camp to get him back

No palo, it was my Dad and my Grandmother in that story. I don't have a brother and the indians were all on resevations by the time I arrived on the scene..lol

New South Wales is in Australia, not Britain. You gotta listen better when I'm telling tales..lol

Love you, Westy

hi westy
ok, I think I'm getting the hang of it
the Indians swiped your dad, then your grandmother rode on horseback to the Indian camp to get him back
New South Wales is in Australia
I'm trying to remember the name of that place in Southern England you were, which I thought was in Africa
lol I guess this how girls got the rep for bein' not so bright
it's these little mistakes in accuracy which get me in trouble lol

hi sweetie pie
I am a naughty girl
I write out the checks but do not record them on stubs
I just pray the money is there
and have no idea how much is there
my hubby trusts me to take care of our finances
he'd be a mess if he knew how I do it

I took the checkbook, bills, pen, stamps to outside table
the birds were singing
the fresh air was blowing
and Lulu (my basset) sat next to me
I have to admit I had a charming time

Interesting to be pinged to this thread on Candlemas day. There's a custom of placing a candle blessed on this day in the hands of the dying to light the way to heaven - to help them slip through a "dimensional doorway" to eternity.

Essentially I believe the dimensional door is always open...open to both good and evil.

I have done that on occasion, forgetting to fill out the stubs for my checks...I try to keep mental notations in my mind...like you, I just pray the money is there

the weather here today is dreary, but thats commonplace here in Washington State, this time of year...just glad no more snow will be coming...

You know, when we are speaking of 'creatures' such as Bigfoot and sasquatch, I am reminded of my sons recent excursion into the Himalayas....he said, that at night, with the different trekkers and sherpas gathered around the fire at night, the sherpas told many stories of Yeti sightings in the areas of the towns along the trekking route...my son said the sherpa tales are so vivid and scarey, that even if one did not believe in such things to begin with, those tales make you at least begin to wonder...

hi sweetie
your post is interesting
I was just reading in ''Rolling Thunder Speaks'' the other night
that Yeti and Sasquatch are related
He said the Yeti are smaller than the Sasquatch
and both have been here from the beginning
he said both are very gentle people
but amazingly strong

hi chrissie
Lynn's post 'bout her son's experiences while traveling in the East
reminded me I read a book by a Tibetan lama
where he said in Tibet when he was a child
animal rights was part of the law there
this meant the animal (I forget donkey, burro, what?)
which they would load up to carry their stuff and them
had one day off a week
when they didn't have to work
he said the animal had a sense of humor
that often the Tibetans would forgot it was his day off
and they would spend 3 hours loading everything on him
then he would lie down
and they would remember it was his day off
so they had to unload everything

The animals they were loading were probably the yaks, which are the mainstay of pack animals up in the Himalayas...my son said they were rather skittish animals, and trusted mainly their herders or sherpas...my son took lots and lots of pictures of them, because he found them to be really endearing animals...

Hi Goody
I did not know today is Candlemas day
that is interesting
I agree with you
I too think dimensional doorways are always open
It seems we have many abilities we have lost the art of
I read the way those ancient pyramids were built in Egypt and South America
was the peoples then knew how to use sound to lift the huge boulders
They say after the Mass Awakening in 2012
we will have those abilities again
that sculptors will no longer need to use chisel on stone
but will remember the songs to get the stone to do what the artist wants

Do you remember this Hilaire Belloc ditty?!

As a friend to the chidren commend me the Yak
You will find it exactly the thing
It will carry and fetch, you can ride on its back
Or lead it about with a string.

"lost abilities"

"Yes" said Piglet, "Rabbit has Brain"
"I suppose" said Pooh "thats why he never understands anything."
