Hi wasfree
thank you for your post
you explained perfectly what I was trying to describe
I agree with you, I don't think it is a satellite
it was such a strange experience for me when it happened the first time
I was looking up at stars
while hubby was chit chattin' in chair near by
I was stunned when the star which had caught my attention suddenly moved at 90 degree angle
then I kept my eyes peeled
and it did it 3 more times in next hour

To: MUDDOG
Hi MudDog
thank you for your post
I will keep my eyes open for the TV shows you mention
I saw some on the Discovery Channel which were interesting
The host of our UFO access show in Tucson has had interesting guests on
At the Rozwell 50 year reunion
he interviewed Col Phil Corso
who was in Rozwell, NM when the UFO crash occurred
Col Corso said a few years later, back at the Pentagon, the General gave him the objects retrieved from that crash
and told him to find out what they are
I am trying to remember the 3 objects
one was night vision glasses
one he sent to Westinghouse Labs -- it turned out to be a silicon chip
I don't remember the third object
Ted also inteviewed one of our engineers who worked in an area like Area 51 with ETs building a ship like theirs
The engineer said the Grays communicated by thought and had a good sense of humor

hi chickita
I read all of Carlos Castenada's Don Juan books
Don Juan said the Yaqui Indians started off in the Yucatan
I hope you didn't fall thru any dimensional doorways when you lived in the Yucatan
or did you spend all your time at Home Depot there

Hi ac
I saw your post to grannie on 'nother thread asking if Florida is next to NY
I gather you live in Europe
here in USA we hear Englishmen have such a good grasp of geography
perhaps you are the exception which proves the rule
I hope you don't think the Yucatan is also near NY
it is a jungle in Mexico

hi ac
I'm just teasin' you
I'm the one who doesn't know geography
I thought New South Wales was in Africa, westy says it is in Southern England
also when habs fell off his canoe into the glacier lake
I thought the lake was in Switzerland
turned out the lake was in Canada
westy is teachin' me geography now

And I am so pleased to have won the Basset calendar...probably it should arrive today...now where is that mailman...we have to many different route drivers, that it could arrive anytime between now and six at nite....

Ah, indeed the face of a basset is a thing of beauty to behold....and yes, it could be the face of a dragon...its just a lovely face....

enjoy your walk with Lulu

I am trying to remember the 3 objects.

I think it was fiber optics, but the guy who holds the patent would probably disagree.

Ishi was found in 1911...do you happen to knwo when he died and exactly what he died from...

He died from TB about four-years after emerging from the wilderness--in between, he worked as a janitor for the museum.

I remember that he considered the flush toilet a clever invention.

Even as early as 1911, people were almost as astonished to see him come out of the bushes as we would be to see a Moose come out of the bushes in Manhattan's Central Park.

I read that book so many decades ago, and saw the movie many years ago, so dont really have my dates accurate...thanks for the info...

I also read a book about him (twenty + years ago), but I didn't know they made a movie about him.

(I did see "Trog" with Joan Crawford, though.)

Why not search the web on him (Ishi, not Trog).

Ishi's out there in text and photos.

For the search-challenged, here's one hit:

hi sweetie
the basset hound calendar you won for knowin' all 'bout Ishi is not fancy
hope you won't be disappointed
they had several basset hound calendars in the Calendar store -- I asked the girl for the one with the cutest pictures
the snow has covered our mountains
and there is ice in our washes
Lulu loved her walk
and rolled on her back in the schoolyard
Hi Kid Westy
the snowstorm you and andysmom got in WA
arrived in Tucson yesterday
we had thunder and lightnin' too
it was spectacular
today bright Sun and blue sky

Hi Age of Reason
thank you for your post and your link
I read the book 'bout him 4 years ago
(I did not know there was a movie)
I remember how happy Ishi was living in the museum
he liked making his coffee on a hot plate
when the anthropologists at the Museum asked him to take them camping in the wilderness
he did not want to go
he was comfortable with his modern conveniences
but he was so grateful for their hospitality
that to do them the favor
he led them on a wilderness camping trip
he was a lovely man
Love, Palo

For crissakes, kick it!
The thing's begging for it.
Show-up on Earth looking like a pancake, & don't be surprised if you're eaten.

...that's just how it goes, on Earth.
