Infomercial Help
None

Posted on 02/02/2002 1:30:08 PM PST by 1L

For about the first time in my life I saw an infomercial for a product I think might be useful. Trouble is, I had to run somewhere before I could write down the title and now I've forgotten it, so I can't look it up on the net. Has anyone seen this product that looks like one of those chef tool french fry makers. It has a lever and has interchangable cutting blades. It can be used to cut and core fruit, cut eggs, potatoes, and even with certain attachments, works as a juicer.

I know, I know, buying stuff from infomercials usually isn't a good idea. I don't know if I'm interested in buying it; I just want to see more about it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, I've seen the gadget. Not only does it slice, dice and juice, it will also help you to gain rock hard "6 pack" abs in just minutes a day. Plus, it will get your whites whiter and your colors brighter, not to mention the thousands of dollars and loads of time you will save. But wait, that's not all! You also get a set of pairing knives, a miracle allergy cure and a handy dandy automatic car polishing kit for no extra charge, if you order in the next 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of the gadget. The announcer was screaming so loud that I changed the channel right before they mentioned it.

If you've seen in on TV, go here for the kitchen crap at asseenontv.com. They will probably have it. Or, you could try Home Goods or Bed Bath and Beyond or Sur Le Table. You can normally find the same thing cheaper at a store...

Check you local department stores (Target, Walmart, etc). You can probably find a similar product, better made and less expensive.

Yes I do know what it is. I invented it! It was originally licensed as the Ron Popeil's French Fry Plus Kitchen Made Easy Thingy.

The license has since reverted back to me. I would be happy to send you one FREE of charge.

Please remit $199.95 shipping and handling.

Why don't you just check the infomercials tonight or tomorrow night or the next night or the next night? They do repeat them. It would save FR badnwidth, too. Robinson asked that this vanity posts not be made.

Robinson asked that this vanity posts not be made.

Huh? Would you please point out where he said that? I posted this on a weekend, NOT during a heavy news cycle, and I posted it in the proper forum. And you have the option of not having these posts from this forum come up if you want.

Don't try and play traffic cop. If the sysops here have a problem with what I post, they will surely let me know.

Yes, you are correct. I have to apologize, especially to you. I should have been commenting on the thread, entitled "Peppy U.S. Teens Vow to make this the Best Year Ever!!!." You remember that one, don't you? Had some great political commentary on there, and YOU really added something to think about.

From now on, I'll follow YOUR lead, oh perfect one.
