If you haven't heard of John O'Neil, you should.
As head of counter terrorism in the FBI's New York office, he investigated the bombings of the World Trade Center (1993), Oklahoma City (1995), Dhahran (1996), the US Embassies in Africa (1998) and the USS Cole in Yemen (1999).
Last August, the 30-year FBI veteran resigned to protest the Bush administration's obstruction of his investigations. He became Head of Security at the World Trade Center just days before Sept. 11; and he perished when he returned to a tower to help others. Former FBI Director Louis Freeh and the FBI's Deputy Director Tom Pickard were at his funeral.
Jean-Charles Brissard, co-author of "Osam bin Laden: The Hidden Truth" met with O'Neil several times last summer. He claims that O'Neil complained bitterly that the former oil executives who make up Bush's cabinet sabotaged his investigation. He claims he was prevented from even entering Yemen.
"Osama bin Laden: The Hidden Truth" (reviews) reveals that the war has more to do with oil than terror. Specifically, US oil companies have control of the massive Caspian Sea reserves and seek to build a pipeline across Afghanistan and Pakistan to the Indian Ocean. While the US was in intensive negotiations with the Taliban last year, Osama Bin Laden took second place. Indeed, bin Laden met with the CIA station chief in Dubai last July. But when the negotiations broke down last summer, the US threatened military action.
The attack on the World Trade Center gave Bush an excuse to launch an undeclared war on Afghanistan, and possibly extend it to Iraq. Thus, it is not surprising that Bush and Cheney both made calls to Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle asking him to limit his investigation of the WTC attack. Although former CIA director James Woolsey called Sept. 11 "a systemic failure of the way this country protects itself" (New York Times, Dec. 30), the Bush administration thinks a closer look would "take resources and personnel away from the effort in the war on terrorism." Privately Democrats "questioned why the White House feared a broader investigation to determine possible culpability." (CNN.com Jan.29)
Possibly they don't want Congress to ask why on Sept. 11 the National Command Authority waited for 75 minutes before scrambling aircraft, even though it was known that four simultaneous hijackings had occurred — an event that has never happened in history. Or, perhaps they do not want to examine reports of explosions at the base of the World Trade Center buildings. Never before have buildings collapsed due to fire alone. Or perhaps they don't wish to ask what happened to the five Israelis who were arrested in New Jersey apparently celebrating the WTC collapse.
The war on terror is a war we're not supposed to win. Didn't you hear Dick Cheney say it would continue as long as we live? To understand why, we must change our paradigm of how the world works. It's not "us against the militant Muslims." Rather, it's us against the criminal elite that runs the world and is determined to bring about a New World Order, a global dictatorship through the United Nations. This cabal, which included Bush's grandfather Prescott, was behind Adolph Hitler. The British and American elites shared Hitler's occult and racist beliefs and planned to use Nazism to bring about the New World Order. But they lost control of their front man, which happens often, and had to destroy him. Their New World Order will combine the totalitarianism and social engineering of Communism, (which they also financed) with capitalism and private ownership (as in Nazi Germany). This is why the Rockefeller and other foundations generously finance left-wing causes.
This elite is centered in the oil industry (Rockefeller), the CIA, Mossad and many intelligence services, the large international banks (Rothschild, Rockefeller, Morgan), multinational corporations, the British aristocracy and various secret occult societies. It is coordinated by The Royal Institute of International Affairs in England and its American branch, the Council on Foreign Relations, from which both Democrat and Republican administrations have been chosen since 1922. I strongly recommend you read Conspirator's Hierarchy : The Committee of 300 by Dr. John Coleman, a veteran of British intelligence.
The war on drugs is another war we're not supposed to win. According to Coleman, our elite masters are behind the world drug trade and have been for centuries. The wealth of the British aristocracy and the American Eastern Establishment is based on the opium trade. Intelligence agencies like the CIA use drugs to fund terrorist operations on behalf of the Elite. Thus, it is hardly coincidental that the cultivation of opium in Afghanistan has resumed after the evil Taliban banned it. On Nov. 21, the London Observer headlined: "Victorious Warlords Set to Open the Opium Floodgates." Drugs, of course, are not only a source of enormous profit but also an effective means of social control. They make people evade their problems rather than confront them.
Apart from oil and drugs, the war on terror is about Israel. Our elite masters use the Israeli-Arab conflict to destabilize the world, and to counter Arab militancy. The elites cooperate with elements in Israel that want to see the US replace hostile regimes in Iraq, Iran and Syria. The CIA and the Mossad were perfectly capable of arranging the World Trade Center attack. Bin Laden only admitted to "inciting" his followers. According to The Times of India, Oct.11, 2001, last summer Mohammed Atta, the leader of the suicide hijackings, received $100,000 from Pakistani Intelligence Chief General Ahmed, a CIA conduit. Ahmed was fired when this was revealed. In his sensational book, The Other Side of Deception : A Rogue Agent Exposes the Mossad's Secret Agenda, Victor Ostrovsky, a former Mossad agent writes that the Mossad actively promotes US-Arab enmity because Israel needs US help. The Mossad motto is "By way of Deception, Thou Shalt Do War."
The American people could have been coaxed into replacing the Taliban or Sadam Hussein without the horror of September 11. However, this horror was necessary because the war on terror is not only about oil, drugs and Israel. It is the next critical stage in the New World Order: the gradual dismantling of US sovereignty and the constitutional rights of the American people. For example, the new anti terrorism legislation stampeded through Congress in October allows investigators to view everyone's personal records and communications.
Sept. 11 was also necessary to justify lavishing billions more dollars on the CIA and military both at home and abroad. "It's like the counter-insurgency era all over again," noted a Congressional aide in Asian Times Online (Feb.9) "Only this time we're going to be fighting 'terrorism' instead of 'Communism."
Sept. 11 was necessary to undermine Americans' self- confidence. It was a "future shock" along the lines of the assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK, and the scandals of Watergate, Iran-Contra and the Clinton Impeachment. These destroy faith in democratic institutions and induce apathy. According to Dr. Coleman, our elite masters have institutions like the Tavistock Institute at the University of Sussex dedicated to social engineering. They know how to make people disconnect and become docile. Repeated mindless violence is one way. When another plane explodes or a deadly virus is unleashed, Americans should demand proof that Muslim extremists are in fact solely responsible.
In conclusion, the world is in a baneful grip. There is a malevolent hand at the helm of modern history. Most of our leaders have sold us out. The mass media is designed to persuade us that this is not so and to distract us. John O'Neil discovered that the war on terror is one we're not supposed to win. It is really about oil, drugs, Israel and the New World Order. O'Neil and 2900 others paid with their lives. In installments, so do we.

What a bunch of nonsense. Buildings collapse due to fire all the time. In fact, buildings collapsing during fires is the leading cause of firefighter deaths. I'm quite sure that with a little more research, the rest of this article can be easily repudiated.
This says it all. How do the conspiracy fanatics face a new day? After all, shadowy 'elite masters' control everything, reality is an illusion and we're all doomed. Although there is a lot of interesting assertions, a casual reading of the links verifies many outright fabrications or "facts" contrary to what every other news source has reported.
It is tough getting through some of those 100% pure paranoia paragraphs...
