Gary Copeland
Libertarian candidate for Governor
Garys views on:
Gary: CEO of NextCure Corporation, a bio-information company dedicated to providing information on new cures that affect the human condition.
Capitalism: Taking dreams and ideas and turning them into reality.
Government: The maintenance of order and the administration of justice are the only proper realms of government, and its purpose is simply to protect persons and property.
Mission: I am running for Governor for my children's future, and the future of our state. My job as a candidate is to project a vision and rally individuals to secure liberty and happiness:
Understand the road that is laid out for us as Libertarians. We are warriors of Liberty. It is our path to defend and protect all individuals' rights and freedoms. This is not an easy task, as every day government justifies its existence by trying to protect us and our children from ourselves. This is my commitment to the people of the state of California:
- The right to pursue those liberties afforded us under the Constitution, in particular the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
- I call for an end to the Drug war and the destruction of our first and fourth amendment rights.
- I call for the separation of school and state, and the end of our arcane educational system, which is rooted in the nineteenth century industrial revolution.
- The state government shall pass no law that interferes with an individual's right to self-determination, unless said individual violates the right of another.
- The government shall not conduct business nor be the entity of a business operation which otherwise can be provided by the private sector.
- I call for an end to the state income tax. The only taxes that the state may collect are use taxes and fees for services.
- No individual shall be forced to serve the government without prior consent of that individual.
May our path be clear.

That's not right. Some of us are burger challenged.
Thanks for posting over here! GREAT show, eh?
Some of us are burger challenged.Do you mean FERRET-burgers?
You're all not, um, reading my freepmails to her are ya?
BTW - What do you think of the sound quality? We bumped the sample rate up. We lose about 40% of our bandwidth capability, but I'm pretty happy with it!
The sound quality sounds the same to me BUT I'm experiencing some loss of connection. The sound would stop, my windows media player would say it's "buffering", the sound would come back, a minute or two later, it would drop again, for a split second, etc. I never had this problem before. (I'm on dialup)
I wish I were as near an ocean as them! (or you)
