Very good first period!
Team USA is working its tails off and I love how they're standing the Russians up at the blue line.
Yeah, they've got 20 shots but not many of them are good scoring chances. Still, the puck needs to be in their end and preferably on goal.
So far, so good. Keeping fingers crossed!

My cable company has CNBC, but not MSNBC. Apparently, MSNBC has the primary cable rights so if your cable company doesn't have MSNBC, you get stuck with CNBC World
AT least I'll be able to see it on CBC one the frigging curling match is done. I just got doen e-mailing my cable providor a link to the local broadband competitor and Directtv. Man do I hate my cable provider.....

I probably shouldn't have made fun of curling. Maybe it would be more fun if I knew more about it. All I know about curling is that it's a form of bowling(!).

Nothing will ever match that.One of my fondest memories is of the local anchor on a newsbreak during the USA-Russia game on his channel (tape delayed) giving the final score.

My cable company claims CBC is set to join in progress after curling, if not, I'm going to have to get in may car and drive 20 or so miles to another town that has MSNBC on their cablesystem to watch it live. Thank God for sports bars...

Ok good to hear if true...I have a feeling if Canada wins the gold they may linger on the curling for a while. If they lose maybe its off to the Hockey...Hope you are right.
