I think its going to get worse. The military is being restructured to support mercenary organizations and foreign personnel resources with administration and logistics centrally managed via commercial contracts.

Platoon, company, Battalion and squadron commanders, no longer command much of anything other than their staff and local directives. Material resources are only provided piecemeal from above.

One or two more administrations like Clinton and the US military will be staffed by foreign troops in platoon to battalion sized organizations task organized by NGOs and led by foreign commanders or 'Americans' without a witnessed background.

I hear they handcuffed this guy and let him bleed on the roadside for close to an hour.

That's what one post I read yesterday said.

The father of the young lady who was driving the car was on the program {Ron Smith's WBAL program as reported by Frepper jackbill) and he said that after the young man was shot in the face, he was handcuffed and laid face-down on the ground for about an hour - until the FBI found out that they had the wrong guy. Only then did they call for medical assistance.

She said that while her friend was laying on the ground the FBI agents were whooping it up and refused her begging that they call medical aid. 48

Can you say "guilty until proven innocent"? The FBI agents treated Shultz as guilty until proven innocent. At the very least it's a blatant, malevolent violation of the fourth amendment.

Every pro-constitution Web site; every anti-government-abuse Web site; every government-out-of-control Web site should run with this story.... capitalize on it.

I guess they would have preferd that he died, reduces the paperwork and potential Lawsuit.

Both victims should give detailed accounts of the events in the form of signed affidavits and secure their safety from potential harassment or attacks.

WBAL radio should make copies of the radio program and secure them off site.

I also believe the local jurisdiction should have the authority to subpoena seniors of the agent to get to the source of the problem. This would include holding the training programs, and those in charge of them liable for their lack of wherewithal.

This is what should happen...but then there is the "supremacy clause" which protects and immunes federal JBTs. In other words, they have a license to kill at random with immunity. ie Is Lon Horiuchi doin time yet for the fatal headshot to Vicki Weaver who was holding an infant? Nope, he is still on the loose armed and dangerous.

About the best we can hope for out of all this is perhaps some sensitivity training for the agent involved in this hotdog shooting rampage.

"There are hotdogs and rookies out there and they DO "initiate armed confrontations"."

This should have ended a long time ago. The armed confrontation is part of valid law enforcement. Controlled, responsible action is called for. There is no place for hotdogs and inept action, as in this case. Their failure to provide immediate medical aid indicates a severe institutional problem, that should have never existed.

" What do you suppose you are going to do when it's you on the wrong end of the muzzle?"

Been there a few times, w/o having done anything illegal. I don't move and refuse to do anything they say until my command that the barrels change direction is obeyed.

His family didn't pull the trigger and are not responsible. To scorn the family for the sins of the father is simply not right. Isn't having a miserable life punishment enough?

people pushing their own political points and do a clinton like blood dance over this unfortunate situation.

do you have anything constructive to add? Like how to pressure the FBI (and the feds in general) to act like responsible adults and face criminal charges, trials and possible jail time or execution when they commit criminal acts?

The situaltion with respect to the feds is starting to remind me of the way that clergy could only be tried in canon court, and weren't subject to the normal legal process.

"The shot might arguably be accidental -- I'd say it could have been manslaughter as it following a whole sequence of poor and endangering procedure. The follow-up lack of getting medical attention, combined with the "whopping it up" indicating mindset, imho, is criminal."

The failure to obtain medical attention for one hour is inexcusable. I agree that it could be a crime. The "whooping it up" is evidence of a depraved heart.

"It's not immoral to not wear your seatbelt."

No, it's not immoral. But this is what happens when government has too much power and abuses it in return for campaign donations.
