You believe everything is relative, don't you. I don't see a need to change from "Coon" to "Raccoon". It gives credibility to a leftist PC agenda which is bent on tearing down the past. If you don't have a past, you won't have a future. Hyperbolize much? People like you are concerned with symbolism over substance. If people really are bothered by the name, why not modify it? What great history is being lost? They won't even have to change mascots.
