Doesn't matter. Oklahoma will throttle them. Rematch of 1988 - KU vs. OU.

Will not practice with the team, but will play Saturday. Could be an emotional lift for the Hoosier Daddies against Oklahoma..

Can they do anything about his butt ugly looks while the trainers are working on that ankle?

There is nothing like a basketball game in Assembly Hall, that's for sure. . Anyone can win on any given night at this point. If heart counts IU wins
kNIGHT's over! It's a new DAYvis at IU. I am impressed my the NEW MAN. Never count out the Hoosiers! Anything goes!

When Kirk Heinrich got hurt against Holy Cross, the doctors would wake him up every 3-4 hours for ice, shots and electric stimulus, I think that is what Coverdale is doing now.

Sometimes a player shoots better with the pain, it limits nerves.

I suppose I had better clam up until this weekend is over. I don't want to eat too much crow.

Go IU!

BTW I'd rather see KU than Maryland anyday.

Actually a friend's daughter goes to the same sports-med- trainer as Tom. On Tuesday he was already on the mend. In good spirits and ready to go. They are taking precautions so it will not be reinjured. But he's chomping at the bit.

My grandmother died the Thursday before IU won the last championship. Her dying words. "Damn I'll miss the ball game." If you see a tape of the game there were several balls the rolled round and round the hoop and finally fell in. You can't tell anyone in this family (She had six children who are IU alumni--& who's counting the grand and great-grand???)that grandma wasn't up there tippin them in. Forget CLeo! Think I should contact grandma again????LOL

I know the feeling, it is different than 1988 we all want this for Roy to get the 'best coach never to win it all tag' off his back.

That was Oregon that beat Texas.

That was also the Big XII that had four teams in the Sweet Sixteen, three of the Elite Eight, and two of the Final Four.

They will also have two teams in the Championship Game . . . . . .
