OK - so who in h*ll is Shaheen and which Bob Smith are you referring to here?

I appreciate brevity but too little it here is much too little.

Jeanne Shaheen is the Democratic Governor of New Hampshire. Bob Smith is the incumbent Republican Senator, whose seat Shaheen will be seeking this fall. There's was plenty of information there for anyone with any knowledge of the New Hampshire situation.

Let's not forget that John Sununu is the son of the man who gave us Supreme Court Justice David Souter just about the most reliable leftist on SCOTUS since the retirement of William Brennan and who tried to deprive Bush the Younger of the presidency after having been appointed by Bush the Elder.

Smith is the dud who quit the Repub party to run as an independent for Pres, then when he saw surprise surprise that his candidacy was going nowhere, jumped back with the pubbies (if I remember correctly) - only reason I'd hate to see him lose is that it will make it that much more difficult to take the Senate away from the 'rats.....

You must love Madamn DuFarge of the Tale of Two Cities, and the blood guilt thing. In any event, no one knew that Seuter would turn out to be a lib. The Left opposed him. Hindsight is so wonderful, and worthless.

Then hope Sununu wins the primary. He has a much better chance of winning against Shaheen, anyway.

Smith is dead meat anyway. He will lose the primary. Let the emotive folks writhe a bit in their agonistic death throes.

You just think that because some political hack told you so. Bob Smith has always been underestimated.

I was at a county-wide Republican event a couple of days ago, at which Sununu couldn't turn out 10 supporters, while Bob's folks were overflowing the place.

That may be the spin down in Texas my friend, but here in New Hampshire, "that dog won't hunt".
