BILL O'REILLY, HOST:In the Personal Story segment tonight, a controversial new book called Harmful to Minors. It comes out in May, and already some Americans are steaming mad, calling the book evil. That's because it says, among other things, that sex is not harmful to children. It is a vehicle for self-knowledge. And that the threat of pedophilia and molestation is exaggerated in America.

. . . begin to feel themselves. That to me, that's sex. You know, sex is more than intercourse, outercourse. It's really about feeling good about your body.
Where was she when everybody, including some doctors who plainly sullied their own reputations, was trying to tell us the Bill Clinton was truthful about "not having sex"???
Depends upon what the meaning of "sex" is.....(and, depends upon who is talking, Democrap or Republican.)
I saw the interview. This woman is frightening
She demonstrated the ultimate illogic, and convoluted reasoning of the amoral left. She didn't respond accurately to a thing O'Reilly said, refused to admit the obvious (that the book she wrote the preface for is hideously evil), and smiled all the while.
Satan is hard at work in this country, and Elders is the personification of the success he is achieving. We need to be in constant prayer for America to counter this evil from within.

I just read the CNN transcript and it's wrong.......the word is ped-E-ophile.......just axe anyone
Bravo for Bill O'Reilly. He really nailed Clinton's sleazebag Surgeon General's hide to the wall. Now, reasonable people can differ on whether Jocelyn's Elders' advocacy of masturbation by adults as a sexual practice is harmdul or not. Where I and every one else on this forum and in this country, apart from Elders and the woman she wrote the foreword to the book for, is we have a total aversion to the sexual exploitation of children by adults. That is pedophilia. That is wrong. And that is EVIL. Its just too bad as someone as educated as Elders doesn't get it even after O'Reilly confronted her on it. Then again its probably fitting she's so obtuse and morally equivalent on sexuality, since she has all the ethics of William Jefferson Clinton.

If this woman isn't the poster child for why affirmative action isn't a good thing, I don't know who would be? This woman truly is dumber than a brick.
As a typical loyal Clinton vermin, Joycelyn Elders offers her profound insight into what constitutes sex.
Her accused rapist and serial sexual predator boss, the disbarred and impeached ex-president gave us similar wisdom.

It depends on what the meaning of "sex" is.
It also depends on what the meaning of "psychotic ignorant commie bitch" is.
Tune in later, I'll try to throw up the audio of this interview. This is something the left should be able to cherish in perpetuity. She's just another Hillary Clinton appointee along the lines of Janet Reamo.
And then she goes on to say "we relish our erotic attraction to children."

ELDERS: You know, Bill, let me just say this. Nobody in the world feels that it's all right for adults to have sex with children,
So, she's never heard of NAMBLA? Dim bulb.....

Gosh, another brainless socialist in favor of child rape. How enlightened.
If Elders is an example of the "Talented Tenth," I can't wait to hear about the "Bottom Fifth."
You couldn't have rephrased my thoughts better. And what's REALLY disgusting, is that in another context it would strike one as absolutely hilarious, is liberals claim everything they do is for the children. I can't believe a lowlife like Elders thinks an adult sexually touching a child can be good for the children. Surely she hasn't heard of reputable studies that have demonstrated a proven link between childhood sexual abuse and children growing up to become molesters themselves? Isn't that reason enough not abuse a child's mind and body and to allow our children to grow up to be themselves with safe and happy childhoods? Yes, sexuality is rampant in the adult culture, but that's no reason to expose children to it. Elders' writing a foreword to such an EVIL book is simply additional evidence an M.D degree means doctors, like an authority, can sometimes be wrong. And this woman is simply, plainly wrong about the existence of a sexual attraction perforce between adults and children. It may well exist, but its still WRONG and moreover its ILLEGAL. Someone should explain the facts of life to Dr. Elders as O'Reilly's attempts to get them through seemed wasted on her.
ELDERS: We use our children to sell everything from toothpaste to houses.
I'll agree with that. We have a dead six year old in Colorado to prove that point. But that's about it.

Oh Lord, I pray that when Dr. Elders feels the need to do a little jostlin' she grab a cactus instead...
Leave it to the Clintons to appoint atomic fallout mutants Jocelyn Elders as THE Surgeon General, and Janet Reno as Attorney General out of an entire country of 280 million citizens.
Is there any question that all these people have a common thread in that they are ALL obviously and clinically deeply disturbed?
Just think. Once upon a time that woman was our surgeon general. One more part of Clinton's legacy.

Walkin' talkin' gibberin' spitin' proof that there is a difference between the two maor parties.
I couldn't watch this because I know something about the issue. How did this woman ever get to be a Dr.? Its frightening to think of her treating people much less being Surgeon General. She has no idea what she is saying.

ELDERS: And you know, more goes on in regard to sex above the neck, Bill. And we've said this before, than below the naval. Now, don't we have to remember that?
Hello? Jocelyn? What about Bill, your good buddy? Didn't he assert that he "didn't have sex with that woman," and then go on to justify this statement because he didn't think "oral sex" was "sex?"
What an absolute stupid idiot this woman is. Duh .....

How did this woman ever get to be a Dr.?
You are not asking a rhetorical question to make a point, are you. I too wonder about that. Not easy to make it through medical school. She doesn't seem capable of normal human activities such as driving a car much less being a physician.
To democrat cockroaches like the borderline psychotic Clinton stooge Joycelyn Elders, NAMBLA sex with children is enlightened, but the Boy Scouts must be destroyed.
Just what kind of special interest groups are these DNC vermin pandering to these days anyway?

O'REILLY: "Sexual conduct with a child does not a pedophile make." This author is excusing adult sexual exploitation of children, all right? It's outrageous. And it is irresponsible.
ELDERS: You know, Bill, I feel that you have to read the whole book. And you have to read that in context. You know, it says sexual contact with a child does not a pedophile make.
O'REILLY: That's insane.
ELDERS: That doesn't make the child a pedophile.
O'REILLY: That's insane. Any adult touching a child in a sexual way is a pedophile, period.
ELDERS: You're wrong, period.
Read these six lines and know that I would never let this Elders woman near a child.
"How did this woman ever get to be a Dr.?"
The magic of affirmative action: Some highly qualified caucasian or oriental male did not get into med school to make room for this semi-psychotic moron and loser.
Ask yourself, would ever voluntarily allow yourself or a loved one to receive medical care from Joycelyn Elders.
In comparison, check out Dubya Bush's nomination for Surgeon General. This guy is a green beret, super doc, ultra-macho, exceptionally competent cool dude. That's the difference between Republicans and Democrats in a nutshell. (Or in the case of Elders, a nutcase)

I did a search for Minnie's bio to see where she went to school and couldn't find a thing, but this
The eldest of eight children, Dr. Elders was a college freshman before she made her first visit to a doctor. She was awarded a full scholarship at age 15. Upon graduation at age 18, she entered the U. S. Army as a first lieutenant and received training as a physical therapist. She attended medical school on the G. I. Bill and completed her residency in pediatrics and endocrinology. She also holds a Master's degree in biochemistry.
and that her first name is Minnie.
Tune in later, I'll try to throw up the audio of this interview.
I'll try not to throw up!

Ahh, it pays to keep digging
Minnie Joycelyn Elders was born in 1933 in Schaal, Arkansas, the eldest of 8 children. At age 15, when she started attending Philander Smith College in Little Rock on a scholarship, she had never seen a physician in her life. She graduated 3 years later, at an age when most children begin their college careers. She became a U.S. Army first lieutenant in 1952, and then a physical therapist.
The G.I. Bill helped Joycelyn through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). In 1960 she interned at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. After she completed her pediatric residency at UAMS, she got a Master of Science degree in biochemistry from the U of A; in 1976 she joined the UAMS faculty as a professor of pediatrics and in 1978 a certified pediatric endocrinologist. Dr. Elders was Director of the Arkansas Department of Health from 1988-93, after having received that appointment from Bill Clinton.

Just goes to show that, like acceptance of homosexuality, the envelope is being pushed for adult-child sex. Here at Free Republic we've seen the trend for some time. It'll explode on the general public before they know what hits them and by then the media and experts will have them voting to lower the age of consent to 8.
Movies have been engaging in pedophilia for some time... including movies like Blue Lagoon. The key actors are children (less than 18). How long will America stand for the pedophilic attitudes prevalent in Hollywood?
Seeing how the Clintonistas were fueled/fueling Hollywierd, is there any question about the coordination between the two????
There is a world of difference between two teenagers, in love for the first time, experimenting with sex and an adult debasing the innocence of a younster or child. It wasn't even 50 years ago that girls over 16 but under 18 could marry (in some states without parental consent).
Despite the free-wheeling attitude of sickos like Elders, I plan on teaching my children to respect their Lord and their bodies, as my mother taught me. Chastity is a virtue that should be held dear; too many friends of mine bought into the lie spewed by Elders and other would-be Clintonites and now live with regrets.
"Joycelyn Elders is at the very top of the "talented tenth" of people of African background. She got an advanced degree. She served in a high governmental position. She very, very intelligent among her peers."
No, she isn't. She has the IQ of a tomato. No, Ms. Elders got where she is because she's black, female, unblinkingly leftist, totally amoral, and is so incredibly stupid, she's quite malleable.
IOW, perfect for someone like Bill (or Hillary) Clinton. Remember..........it was Clinton that "made" her. Tells you a lot, doesn't it?
The Blue Lagoon was nothing more than a teenage sex flick designed to encourage sex play among the targetted high school audience who came of age during Reagan's Adminstration. The movie was only one example of the lack of family values in Hollywierd.
We can easily point to other recent films which show underage characters or actors in various scenes which suggest sexual overtones.
With the scandals erupting within the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Catholic Church, and other non-profit organizations, there is little to defend the interests of American families... except our eternal vigilance.
sometimes you just KNOW he wants to call her a stupid, ignorant ass...

ELDERS: That doesn't make the child a pedophile.
She actually said, "That doesn't make the child a pee-dee-ophile. I just heard her say that now (on a Saturday night O'Reilly rerun.)
Isn't it funny that Elders mispronounces "pedophile" and Schumer mispronounces "erudite?" He says "Air-ee-yoo-dite."

Think her comment about masturbation was even too much for Clinton and was the reason for her leaving office.
Well, this might not be the best place to defend Dr. Elders, but I didn't think the interview was as bad as some have said; in fact, I thought O'Reilly came off looking the worst. Specifically, I'm thinking about the quote that said something like: "Sex with a child does not a pedophile make." O'Reilly was in a real huff about this one, but Elders had a pretty good reply. She said the quote didn't mean that an adult who has sex with a child is not a pedophile, but rather that a child who has sex, perhaps due to abuse, will not necessarily become a pedophile himself. O'Reilly was so worked up that he never heard Elders' answer or responded to it, and it was impossible to be sure what the quote really meant because O'Reilly never put it in context. Elders' interpretation made sense, and overall I think she had more credibility since she stayed calm and had probably read the book. I doubt O'Reilly actually read it; he probably had a staffer skim for the worst sounding parts. Moreover, Dr. Elders said several times that pedophilia is obviously wrong.

"and was the reason for her leaving office."
Larry, Larry, I am shocked at you. You are always direct and to the point. Let's get it straight......SHE WAS FIRED by Clinton.
I did get a hoot kick out of an NAACP meeting where she was introduced like she was the greatest SG that ever existed. While it was pure disgust, it showed exactly where their mentality is.
I did the shuffle cause I didn't remember if she was fired or just left...lol
It is sad the NAACP held her up as a model.
This woman has sex on the brain. I swear that is all she ever thinks about. Her brain must be located somewhere below her waist.
She very, very intelligent among her peers.
Har,har,har,yuk,yuk,yuk,stop it man,you're killing me,hah,hah hah,ho,ho,hee,hee,hee.You're a funny guy,anybody ever tell you that.
>>Satan is hard at work in this country, and Elders is the personification of the success he is achieving.<<
From what I have read, the Bible says that Satan is a liar, and the father of lies. In this transcript, Elders does nothing but lie, lie, lie.
Y'suppose there's a connection?
Y'suppose there's a connection?
That would be a logical conclusion to draw now, wouldn't it?
