Twenty-five year olds don't know a thing about "critical self-distance."
I suppose that's why the U.S. armed services train twenty-something ensigns/2d lts. to fly $30 million dollar aircraft loaded with bombs and missiles. By the time they hit 30, they've completed several carrier-based deployments.
