It is almost amusing to observe Hector and his fellow Aztlaners rail against Whitey when they have, almost without fail (1) white surnames (2) some white racial heritage and (3) a white language. One could almost say they are self-haters!

Hector doesn't even know the history he professes to know. San Francisco was named by an American. Under the Spaniards - and for 25 years, the Mexicans - it was Yerba Buena.
Like you said, he's - horrors! - more American then he thinks.
