"ASK" is an offshoot of
PAX.
A lot of us have fun with the idea of anti-gunners putting "gun-free home" signs on their lawns or in the windows of their homes - these geniuses at PAX actually had the signs, I got a bunch of them at a meeting a couple of years ago. They used to have them available through their website, but they've been "undergoing renovations" for quite some time now and don't have 'em up there, otherwise I'd happily link it. ;-)

"Hey my kids own their own guns. Does that count?"
That makes you a "double dog" evil, greedy, gun toting, N.R.A. flunky, murderous, racist, sexist, homophobe..................did I miss anything??
To: Jefferson Adams
Only 40%? I would bet that it is higher. At least I hope so. Anyone with a wife and kids who does not own, and know how to use a firearm, is a fool.

Do we have PUBLIC FEDERAL DOLLARS BEING USED TO FURTHER AN ANTIGUN AGENDA????You're familiar with Arthur Kellerman, namesake of the famous study that the anti's quote unashamedly to this day (you're 43 times more likely blah blah blah), DESPITE the fact a congressional committee found that Kellerman manipulated his research toward an intended result - to discredit gun owners and encourage more gov't regulation. Why was a congressional committee investigating him? Because he was working through the Centers for Disease Control, which is funded by US taxpayer $'s. Congress ended up de-funding the CDC as a result. Read more here and here for starters.)
The whole damn study is bogus, it's gospel with anti's and media, and WE all paid for it.

Ugh - what a stupid ad.Its liable to get worse. PETA has to resort to poor taste to get any attention at all. Once the antigunners see how bad this flops they will stoop lower.

You'd be better off asking if they have any 5 gallon buckets than guns. Far more more children drown in those than are killed by gun accidents. I know - that was mentioned on another forum as well. The poster suggested a photo of a little girl with a snorkel :)

From a magazine who's title harkens back to China's "Workers Daily" you were expecting rightous conservatism??? LOL - nope, I don't much care about the magazine itself. I'm more concerned about the group placing the ad(s).

Not in a safe I would'nt, except for storage. If I ever need it for defense it has to be within reach and loaded.
