This particular case is so out there I have to wonder if NAMBLA purposefully sent this guy into the priesthood.

Thats right, he should be in jail. But why exactly does the BBC or Great Britain get the bashing? After all this IS about a priest in Boston. Isnt it?
Do you think the BBC or British are preaching to you? This is just a news item, not a sermon.

Quit the church and read the bible.....interpret it as you will.Good idea, I think I'll try that.
Matthew 27:5: And he... departed, and went and hanged himself.
Luke 10:37: Go, and do likewise.
On second thought...

Do you think the BBC or British are preaching to you? This is just a news item, not a sermon. First I am neither Catholic nor particularly religious. My point was that given the British attitudes on both homosexuality and drug use, the logical conclusion would be that they would support this US priest in his "enlightened" views. However; that puts the BBC in the position of defending someone involved in religion and they sure as hell can't do that. It is the true Hobson choice for that bastion of "tolerance" across the pond.

It's a media driven story to try and topple the Catholic Church.Hmm. And the impeachment proceedings were just
a scheme to get rid of Clinton, per Hillary, as if lying under oath
had nothing to do with it. Pedophilia trap?

him there for 30 years.

The reference to British Attitudes is a rather sweeping statement. British attitudes, on many subjects, are not as shallow or single minded as you seem to think. May be your beef is with the media. Defending this person would be indefensible, not even the godless, evil BBC could justify it.
BTW, I am neither Catholic nor particularly religious either.

I believe there is a more demonic league responsible.
I am told that the above is just one of my conspiracy theories. But my family is from Galveston, Texas and New Orleans -- and Malachi Martin's Windswept House keeps hovering in my thoughts about all that has come to light.

Thanks for the advice, but I go to church
and read the Bible.
I wish more people did. In fact, I pray for it. Have a blessed Sunday.

This is just flat out sickening, what those so called "men of God" have done!!

But that is the point. These perverts were obviously NOT men of god and should be tried and hung by men of this earth. 37 posted on 4/30/02 7:23 AM Pacific by sixtycyclehum [ Post Reply

I notice not too many Catholics are not addressing this post, hoping it just fades away. I won't let it.
