Just imagine the headlines if these people get reparations:

I was thinking the exact same thing. This guy gets $3.8 mil and squanders every last penny. If reparations ever go through (and sadly, I'm increasingly thinking they will) it will be the same story.

I'd be willing to bet that 90% of any reparations money paid out is going to wind up in the pockets of the liquor store owners, the crack dealers and the lottery ticket vendors. It will be a huge party at first (time for whitey to leave town) and then it will come to a screeching halt with the recipients broke, not to mention saddled with job losses due to chronic alcoholism, arrest records due to drug convictions and all their new toys in the pawn shops.

Of course then Jesse and Al will scream that "It was only a down payment on the costs of slavery. Give us more!!!"

Fox News Channel had on the husband of the husband/wife team who actually videotaped the Reginald Denny beating. They said they feared for their lives because so many of the rioters had guns, they thought they would be shot.

Sadly, their tape received only a fraction of the noteriety as King's tape did. I'm surprised the tape was aired in the first place.

Incidentally, I wonder what became of the fellow who taped King's beating? I wonder how he feels about doing it now and if he ever wished he had simply turned the camcorder off an erased over what footage he already had.

But the correlation is there. I'd say that crime causes poverty.

Sure does. Liberals have it backwards. As usual. They have a real problem with reality, with separating cause from effect.

You are absoluely correct! And, Reginald Denny did not get a $3.8 million settlement.
