Police Find Another Mail Bomb in Neb.

Another explosive device was found Sunday in a mailbox in Nebraska, police said. Authorities had not determined whether the device was similar to 14 pipe bombs found in three states, including Nebraska, in the past three days.

The device did not explode, police said. It was found in a mailbox Sunday evening at a home in Albion. The Nebraska State Patrol was investigating.

Mailboxes are exploding! Why, you ask?

Attention people.

You do things because you can and want (desire) to If the government controls what you want to do, they control what you can do.

If you are under the impression that death exists, and you fear it, you do anything to avoid it. (This is the same way pain operates. Naturally we strive to avoid negative emotion/pain.)

You allow yourself to fear death!

In avoiding death you are forced to conform, if you fail to conform, you suffer mentally and physically. (Are world powers utilizing the natural survival instinct in a way that allows them to capitalize on the people?)

To "live" (avoid death) in this society you are forced to conform/slave away.

I'm here to help you realize/ understand that you will live no matter what! It is up to you people to open your hearts and minds. There is no such thing as death. The people I've dismissed from this reality are not at all dead.

Conforming to the boundaries, and restrictions imposed by the government only reduces the substance in your lives. When 1% of the nation controls 99% of the nations total wealth, is it a wonder why there are control problems? The United States strives to provide freedom for their people. Do we really have personal freedom? I've lived here for many years, and I see much limitation. Does the definition of freedom include limitation? I've learned about the history of various civilizations in history, and I see more and more limitation. Do you people enjoy this trend of limitation? If not, change it!

As long as you are uninformed about death you will continue to say "how high", when the government tells you to "jump". As long as the government is uninformed about death they will continue tell you to "jump" Is the government uninformed about death, or are they pretending?

You have been missing how things are, for very long. I'm obtaining your attention in the only way I can. More info is on its way. More "attention getters' are on the way. If I could, I would change only one person, unfortunately the resources are not accessible. It seems killing a single famous person would get the same media attention as killing numerous un-famous humans. There is less risk of being detained, associated with dismissing certain people.

Sincerely,
Someone Who Cares

PS. More info. will be delivered to various locations around the country.

The circumferential route from the first to the last placement in Nebraska is about 300 miles (e.g., Seward to Ohiowa). The bombs were generally placed about fifty miles apart -- same as in Illinois/Iowa.

Given the sleeping habits in farm country, the "safe" time frame for placement wouldn't exceed six hours (11 pm-5 am). Given rural roads and the stops necessary to place the bombs, it's a full night's work. I wonder if the mailboxes were all located directly on the highways between the towns, or off on rural roads.

Gorlyn Nun said he wasn't aware of the explosions in Iowa and Illinois when he walked down his gravel driveway Saturday morning and opened his mailbox to find a pipe inside with a battery attached to it.

"I opened it up, my mail was there and there was a clear Ziploc bag in there. I could see it was a pipe and it had a 9-volt battery in there," he said.

"That the bombs were planted overnight indicates they likely were not targeted at rural residents but rather at the mail carriers, Van Zandt said.

It's his believe we wouldn't go to the mailbox until the mailman got there," he said. "You know if he comes at noon every day, so there's no use in going out at 8 a.m. His target is either the post office itself or mail carriers as representatives of the government."

This is one deranged individual; serious mental illness. Found this line to be curious: When 1% of the nation controls 99% of the nations total wealth, is it a wonder why there are control problems? Sounds like a "Unibomber" without the technical bomb making know-how.

I hope our illustrious "G Men" have better luck catching these culprits than they had apprehending the Anthrax-ers!

If the bombs were planted at night, how come this man found his mail along with the bomb? Did the mail courier see the bomb in the mailbox Saturday morning and put in the mail anyway?

I don't know if it's the same one, but didn't one of the mail carriers say that he saw it in the mailbox but thought it was some sort of farm equipment?

Four of the bombs went off while rural carriers were serving the boxes. They were all seriously injured, but none critically. The mail the guy was picking up may have been from the day before.

Thank goodness this is a reasoning, compassionate bomber!

I can only think of one reasonable explanation for this. Maybe Mr. Nun had not checked his mail since Thursday, the mail in the box was delivered on Friday, and no mail came for him on Saturday. Afterall, the bomb was found on Sunday. He could have been out of town or sick or something.

Hmmmm... None of the non-trivial phrases popped out of a Google search, either webpages or usenet or thru BoardReader (message boards search engine), so I doubt this individual has done much posting online or has a website. (Wait - I didn't search FR... !)

He may be a naturalized US citizen:

The United States strives to provide freedom for their people. Do we really have personal freedom? I've lived here for many years, and I see much limitation.

His English is impeccable.

Holy Toledo - I just noticed something:

I'm here to help you realize/ understand that you will live no matter what! It is up to you people to open your hearts and minds. There is no such thing as death. The people I've dismissed from this reality are not at all dead.

This guy has already killed people.

(He's already killed more than one person, but not with his mailbox bombs. He's only injured six with that method.)
Six people were injured by explosions in Illinois and Iowa on Friday. Six pipe bombs were also found Saturday in rural areas of Nebraska, but none went off. They were later detonated harmlessly by authorities.

I seem to recall a large amout of pipe bombs going off in Florida a while back. I'll try to find some threads on that.
Gorlyn Nun, a 59-year-old carpenter, found one of the first unexploded bombs Saturday morning when he opened his mailbox near Ohiowa, a village of 100 people about 65 miles southwest of Lincoln, Neb.

He said he saw a clear plastic bag containing a 6-inch long metal pipe with screw-on caps on both ends, along with a 9-volt battery, some wires and some papers, he said. At first Nun thought that someone had left something for his wife, and he picked the package up, but put it back down.

''This doesn't quite look right,'' he said he told himself, calling the county sheriff. FBI explosives experts arrived an hour or so later, confirmed that the device was a pipe bomb, and detonated it, Nun said.

"One of those injured was Delores Werling, a 70-year-old, part-time teacher of the handicapped who lives on a 200-acre farmstead northeast of Tipton, Iowa, about 37 miles southeast of Cedar Rapids. Her husband, Bryce Werling, who is a retired farmer, said Saturday in an interview that he and his wife drove up to their mailbox about 11:20 a.m. Friday. His wife, sitting on the passenger side, opened the mail box, took out some mail and, noticing an object, asked her husband if he had left something in the mailbox."

Yet another incident where the mail was in the box, along with the bomb.

Five more bombs found in mailboxes

Domestic Terrorism Since the Oklahoma City Bombing to 1998

Midwest, 1994-95: Members of the white supremacist Aryan Republican Army go on a 7-state crime spree, leaving behind pipe bombs as they rob 22 banks from Nebraska to Ohio.

Vernon, Oklahoma, November 1995: A self-proclaimed prophet and leader of an Oklahoma militia is arrested while preparing a bombing spree against civil-rights offices, abortion clinics, welfare offices, and gay bars.

Spokane, Washington, April-July 1996: Citing biblical law, three self-described "Phineas Priests" commit bank robberies and bomb offices of the daily Spokesman-Review, Planned Parenthood, and a local bank.

Atlanta, Georgia, July 1996-February 1997: Pipe bombs explode at Centennial Olympic Park, an abortion clinic, and a gay bar, killing 1 and injuring more than 100 people. The so-called Army of God takes credit for the clinic and bar bombings.

Phoenix, Arizona, July 1996: Federal agents arrest 12 members of the Viper Militia and seize over 300 pounds of ammonium nitrate - a key ingredient of the Oklahoma City bomb - plus 70 automatic rifles, thousands of bullets, and 200 blasting caps.

Clarksburg, West Virginia, October 1996: Federal agents arrest Mountaineer Militia members for possession of explosives and for allegedly plotting to blow up the FBI's fingerprint facility, where 2,000 people work. Authorities seize TNT, grenades, and C-4 plastic explosives.

Kalamazoo, Michigan, March 1997: Federal agents arrest a local militia activist for allegedly giving 11 pipe bombs to a government informant and plotting to bomb government offices, armories, and a TV station.

Yuba City, California, April 1997: A blast that shatters area windows leads police to 550 pounds of petrogel, a gelatin dynamite, allegedly stored by local militia activists. The explosives are enough to level three city blocks.

Wise County, Texas, April 1997: Federal officials arrest four Ku Klux Klan members who had planned to blow up a natural-gas refinery and use the disaster as cover for an armored-car robbery.

Fort Hood, Texas, July 1997: Convinced that army bases are training United Nations troops to stage a coup, an antigovernment group plans to attack Fort Hood on July 4. Authorities arrest seven people and seize machine guns and pipe bombs.

ROBERTA, Ga., - Two leaders of a small militia group were arrested Friday and 10 bombs were confiscated in raids on their homes after an informer said they planned to build and distribute pipe bombs. (May 1996)
