I read on another thread that her Mother had it custom-made - had a couple of diamond chips and her initials carved into it. That adds up.

A few grams of gold and two diamond 'chips' that were saved from their date at the bottom of a drilling rig $416? Yeah right.

I have bought way too much gold jewelry lately at LA's jewelry district and elsewhere, including a couple pinky rings - $416 should buy you a custom ring with far more than diamond CHIPS. The issue of cost is irrelevant, I know - but I just hope that the ring brings the criminal to justice. Anyone seen a RECENT picture of Condit wearing a pinky ring? I bet not!

Thats the part that got me too. NOW after all this time, NOW, they are going to interview taxidrivers & others about her. She left a map on her computer for them to follow & they couldn't even do that right. What a bunch of clowns. I think if I had lived in DC, even I could have found her, me & my Jack Russell Terriers.

How could she take a taxi? Her money, credit cards, etc were found in her apartment.

Good question. Apparently you are much smarter than the DC police detectives.

If "cooperating" was going to exonerate him he would have done it right from the get go.

Exactly! The only thing that could be worse than what WE have imagined/discussed is that he DID IT.......that's the only reason he is NOT cooperating.

Especially now. She is dead; they have her body. What reason would he have now not to go directly to the police and share every single thing he knows about her -- stuff her parents don't even know.

Unless, of course, he's guilty.

Did you see Geragos on Greta's show last night? Man, he had a fit.....and she backed him right to the wall. I am looking for the transcript!

If they can find the ring, the bracelet or the keys, the police may have their most promising lead after 13 months of frustration.

Have they checked Condit's jewelry box?

Good theory! You might want to check the box of tinfoil and see if your supply is holding up. Perhaps a short trip to the store for future back ups maybe in order.

She still could have had a couple of bills in her sock or shoe or something. But why didn't she take her cell phone?

Remember...her key chain had Condit's apt. key on it...that's why THAT's missing!

She wouldn't need her cell phone along with her if she was with Condit. She used it mostly to keep in touch with him.

She wouldn't have her Condit-key if she was giving it back to him during the ride around DC in his little red car.

What was in that infamous watch box that was discarded?

I imagine they didn't keep all the trash that was in the can, only the watch box.

Unfortunately, a pinky ring and Condit-key were inside it when it was initially discarded. Among other things, eh?

Condidit.

All dedectable by metal detectors if you want to delay discovery of the body. So where do you dispose them ? How about the caverns ?

Condit Files: Related Contemporary Event One of Condit's biggest bosom buddies and double-dating party animals in Washington was erstwhile Congressman Kasich, who quit and left DC in one hell of an unseemly and undignified hurry. He skedaddled home to beautiful Ohio and was married and the father of a family in what seemed like days. Although a shoe-in for re-election, he decamped DC faster than a whore from a bible class. Nobody knows why.

Condidit either did it or he knows who did. Even if it's a frame up, Condidit knows or suspects who'd want to bring him down. Either way the man's a menace with access to classified info.

Anne Marie Smith's atty, Jim Robinson, alluded to Condidit's congressional perv circle during an appearance on FOX last week. Wonder if someone's trying to send a message through Sleazy Rider's misfortunes...

Well, the boy scouts and other samaritans who cleaned up the creek bed last April, found keys. They are at the dump now, with hiking boots and other sundry things picked out of the water.
