Hi, D! Thanks. Glad to see you're back at it with your excellent posts, but I sure do hope you're not posting the same kind of pics (hooded Palestinian terrorist waving their AK-47s in the air) ten years from now. I'm gettin' sick of it.
To: Diogenesis
Great post!! Thanks....

Dio, your photos today bring about a wide range of emotions:
Anger: At the Palis. I hope the IDF grinds all of them into the treads of their armor.
Hope: The photos of Afghanistan and the people of that land - they are a real testament to the ability of humans to endure hardship with pride. How anyone there wakes up in the morning in those conditions without going over the edge is amazing.
Pride: Pride in the world's best soldiers - now the world can see that we aren't the Imperial Storm Troopers merely there to kill anything that moves like the Soviets did.
Sorrow: The last photos of Mrs. Spann say too many words that we all feel with her.
Thanks, Dio.

Hey Pali slimeball:I wish that the rocket was real - and you accidentally fired it right then. (Backblast area clear, dumb@ss?) You are the chlorine that your gene pool needs.
Nice toy there, Achmed. When you grow up, what do you want to be? Merkava track grease, or a Darwin Award winner?

Just incredible photos....thanks!
What did you mean when you said that the U.N. forced the women in Afghanistan to put the burkas back on, Diogenesis?

Thank you. If you run across a picture of Mike Spann at a web site, I'd like the URL.

excellent work, as always. thank you, Diogenesis.

Another amazing world-wide photographic journal.
My heart aches for Shannon Spann. Her face is so drawn in pain, with circles under her eyes nearly down to her chin. Prayers that she will find restful sleep and strength for her children.
To: Diogenesis
Awesome. Simply awesome. inspiring too.

Let's not forget why we are in a fight to the finish.
Those photographs of Shannon Spann are a poignant,
and powerful reminder - lest we forget.
Thanks for posting them here.

It should largely be a war against the terrorist culture, not just the terrorists themselves. One way to address that is by evangelism and re-education, but a more immediate way of doing that is by removing the individuals infected by that culture. Distressing, yes, but a viable option, in my opinion.
