Here's is what really scares me: since when is Peter Jennings an editor? Isn't he supposed to be an objective journalist? Since we does he decide the copy? </shock tone>

And in this case he is just the host. When did the host of a special get to decide and censor who and what was in it.

Exactly.

On his news broadcast, I can see some content control (though the mere mention of content control shows that there is a bias). Even though he is nothing more than a glorified reader, I can see (though it doesn't hold much validity) an argument in that forum.

But, in an ABC special? This is what is so key to this story. I mean, of all places where he might want to remain "objective", it should be his news broadcast. The place he should be least concerned (and "let his hair down", so to speak) with an "objective" outlook would be an ABC special featuring muscial acts such as Mr. Keith.

This is a bunch of horse crap.

Note to ABC: Have you figure out why auidences have left en masse? Here is yet-another example...get it?
