I need independent confirmation on those scars. Was that scar part of the ORIGINAL sketch of John Doe #2? Is this photo of Jose Padilla un-retouched? If so then that scar is VERY STRONG evidence of the link between the two.
P.S. I would like to see better photos of Padilla to see if he has a distinguishing scar on his face.

It is very hard to tell if there are scars in the smaller size photos.....he blew that up hugely. I would say there may be a scar, but I can't tell for sure. I will have to keep searching.

See if you can find those scars on the other websites. I get suspicious that they might have been doctored. If not, then, yes, this is EXPLOSIVE. A chin not looking exactly the same is one thing. But when very similar scars appear on both the sketch and photos, then that is an incredibly strong link. But first this must be independently VERIFIED.

A gangbanger would be very likely to have a scar. True but does the sketch REALLY have that scar? Remember, both scars are in almost the exact same location on the left cheek with matching sizes. If these are legit, it is very strong evidence of a link.

The e-mailer to Junkyard Blog is quoted on that site as having said that the scars are in the originals, and Bryan Preston, the author of Junkyard Blog, claims to have confirmed this by comparing the originals.

Yeah, well I would feel a lot better if they were confirmed INDEPENDENTLY. With all the web hoaxes out there, I get very skeptical about this type of stuff. However, IF this can be independently confirmed, then it would be POWERFUL evidence of a link between John Doe #2 and Jose Padilla.

And I am still wondering about Padilla's whereabouts in April, 1995.
What do you want to bet that we'll never be informed of his exact whereabouts?
You're probably right, Registered. The closest we've come is 2 different statements from the leader of the Pembroke Pines mosque saying Padilla was there "around 1995" for "3-6 months on Saturday mornings until he disappeared", then saying he was there "around 1995" until he "disappeared" in 1997.
I tried to find some of his whereabouts out, and that was the closest I came:

Bunting had a military crew cut at the time of the OKC bombing. No comparison IMO of JD#2.
