Sometimes I think peeing is a mental thing. My husband and I do antiques and collectible shows where there are only those ghastly portable toilets, which I will not use. Finding them not to my liking, I simply don't use them. So I spend twelve hours without going at all, and don't feel the urge. However, upon arriving at home where I have a clean toilet I can go nicely and at this point in time, urgently. Go figure.

I think you hit the nail on the head! I had back surgery, but before that my back got so bad I couldn't get out of bed, and I wouldn't let anyone call an ambulance, until two days later. I didn't go potty that whole time, but boy, when the ambulance came and got me to the hospital, what a river! It IS a mental thing.

As I approach the half century mark, I have to say that my ability to hold it isn't what it used to be.

Couple of months ago I was in the bank and suddenly, I had to go so bad I ran to the fast food joint next door. If there hadn't been one I would have had to find a bush or tree.

Same here, at 48 I think I could only finish a couple of six packs, no where near a case :)

And, could probably only hold for 24 hours, not the usual 48+ :)

Big deal! I want to know how many of you have wiz'd in a bottle or off the highway. I have seen this done a lot of times on an aircraft. The flight attendent set this up so this is a non-story. Attack the guy on his lousy voting record, and its a lousy one at that.

You need a FUD,there are numerous varieties....curtious females I know bring them out on the boat with them when we go walleye fishen,nothin worse than having to head to shore or tryin to squat and balance over a pail in the middle of a walleye chop.....they work good for gals on the deerstand also.
