She needs to be called on the carpet for this.
It's not like someone expects her to strap-on the flag, but geez, she comes over here and gets a fistful of dollars...then carps on about the good ole' U.S. of A.
I don't know how this is gonna play in LaCrosse, WI...but spiking our country while catching softballs from the German press should not be dominating our news.
Personally, I can't wait for her to get booed like Hitlery when she makes her next domestic pubic appearance.
sincerely,
sayfer bullets.

"It's depressing. Decisions in America are based solely on the question of 'how much money will come out of it' and not on the questions of how much health, morals or the environment suffer as a result." Navratilova, who is openly homosexual, said she fights actively for gay rights
MARTINA, CALLING MARTINA; WE, THE U.S.A. DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK OF US. THANK US FOR THE MILLIONS YOU MADE AND BE ON YOUR B.D. WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU MAKE ME ASHAMED TO BE A FAN OF TENNIS!

To: Pokey78

Navratilova, a Czech-born American who won 18 grand slam singles titles when she dominated women's tennis in the late 1970s and 1980s...She obviously ;never played singles with a blamanche.

U.S. tennis great Martina Navratilova criticized her adopted homeland in a German newspaper on Wednesday, saying money is the only thing that matters there.Of course she should know - she's made plenty of it...
If she's got so many problems with it, "Delta is ready when she is..."

When I applied for a green card, back in the early 80's, I know I had to swear that I wasn't homosexual. If Martina filled out the same form, and lied on it, she would in theory have voided her application; and I'm pretty sure this would also be grounds for revoking her naturalization petition.
I'm not saying it is remotely likely the INS would do this, but I think it's theoretically possible.
To: mille99
ahhh, the lowest form of humor, yes, but with todays run of headlines, we gotta have something to chuckle at.
If I knew where she lived I'd have her cable/satellite disrupted tomorrow right when "Will and Grace" comes on.
That'd get her boxers in a twist.
To: Right Wing Professor
You don't think that 'entry' question survived the sinkerator administration do you?
To: sayfer bullets
No, I don't. But the offense is lying under oath, not being homosexual.
Oh, wait a second, lying under oath isn't a crime any more either. Never mind.

"The Republicans try to manipulate public opinion and sweep controversial issues under the rug."
Yeah, that's all Rush and Sean Hannity do, sweep controversial issues under the rug. And we know the Democrats and their special interests absolutely never try to influence public opinion, they wouldn't even think of it. This one statement by Martina shows that she is an idiot at best and unbalanced at worst.
To: mille99
She is, by the the way.....and an ingrate at that. But when self-proclaimed "patriots" start calling for the deportation of a citizen for practicing her 1st Amendment rights, you have to wonder about their own ability to read, comprehend and honor their Constitution. Agreed. Far better to call Subaru USA and ask them why they're employing as a spokesperson a woman who goes out of her way to slander the US in foreign media. I'd do it, but since I'd never take a Subaru as a gift, let alone buy one, it wouldn't be very effective.

"It's depressing. Decisions in America are based solely on the question of 'how much money will come out of it' and not on the questions of how much health, morals or the environment suffer as a result." The sad thing is that this part of her statement is true.

The Republicans in the United States manipulate public opinion and sweep any controversial issues under the table Translation: The Republicans create resistance in public opinion to manufactured news and false crises by slamming left-wing propaganda under the table with the truth

Where issues don't conflict with their sexuality, there can be fellowship. Not everything is about sex.

I think she is upset because the American system of government does not work like a parlimentary system. One consequence of that is that, just because a party might win the presidency and a majority in both the house and senate, that party can't always force all of its agenda on the country. For example, President Clinton signed an executive order on his first day in office requiring the military to allow homosexuals to serve. This executive order was resisted not only by by the Joint Chiefs of Staff but also prominent congressmen and senators in President Clinton's own party. Ultimately Clinton backed down somewhat and instituted the "don't ask don't tell" policy.
In a parlimentary system, the prime minister would be in a position to punish party members that oppose his pet issues.

"The Republicans in the United States manipulate public opinion and sweep any controversial issues under the table," Navratilova said.If that was true, you wouldn't be able to make such an idiotic statement you dumb ugly dyke b*tch.
To: Pokey78

No it isn't. It colors her politics. It has zero to do with people's opinions of her comments. Zero.
It's the same garbage as homosexual radicals when confronted with something they don't like in a heterosexual, calling them a "breeder".
Both behaviors are stupid.

She defected and America took her in. Maybe she should stay in Europe where they give constitutional rights to animals. She might be happier there.

She must have a bad taste left in her mouth for having shacked up with a beauty queen from Texas. Dude, what about the taste in the beauty queen's mouth!
To: KayEyeDoubleDee
Militia Ethridge, you are bad! :)
To: tallhappy
She grew up in a Communist country. She learned it there. Not unlike how todays US kids learn Liberalism in a Marxist tendency public school system.
In any event, why would the butchy dyke decry the lack of morals here? She's a Lesbian, eh? Immoral, too. She stayed on the circuit because she couldn't tear herself away from checking out the shorts and tight tops on the other side of the net. I'll wager she's torqued because she hadn't the chance to ogle Anna and Venus.

Are most "breeders" conservative? I don't see how they or anyone could say that, do you?.. Are most "lesbians" liberal ?...... Well, I think you might have a better case there (based on past voting records, etc)
