This is the PERFECT REASON why we must unseat Democrats who appoint liberal judges who advance their liberal activist agenda instead of interpreting the constitution.
Help unseat one!

I agree, but I believe the offending judge in this case was a Nixon appointee.

I thought it was a 3 judge panel.

NO BIG DEAL.
Just go back to the way the pledge was before 1954 when Eisenhower added the "under god" phrase in 1954.
What's the controversy??

This is why we must unseat Democrats who appoint Lib judges!!!And also why the dems fight so hard to keep anybody but a liberal being appointed as a judge- they want to keep the "dismantling of America" going at full speed because they've nearly reached the point of no return on the road to totalitarianism via a socialist utopia.

Say - would you know the difference between "active" and "senior," I don't. Are the "seniors" active?

In a dissent, Judge Ferdinand Fernandez, said the phrase has no tendency to establish religion or suppress anyones ability to exercise the religion of his or her choice, except in the fevered eye of persons who most fervently would like to drive all tincture of religion out of public life.Fernandez is a Bush 1 appointee. Who is the third judge?

I know its been said here before, but the article in the Constitution that supposedly makes the pledge unconstitutional is:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
Regardless of what the SC says, I think the link from Congress down to the state, and then down to the school board is tenuous, at best.
