I was a Security Policeman in the USAF and I spent 4 years doing nothing but profiling! All profiling is, is a cop saying to him/herself "Gee that doesn't look right. I'd better check it out." that's what alot of what cops do, look for something that don't fit the pattern.

P.S. I've always thought any serviceman that served overseas ought to be forever exempted from any taxes at any level of Government as he had already given much more to this Gov't and to his fellow countrymen than those of us civvies who never served overseas.

Sub rosa the Democrats are going for the Muslim vote at the same time they are jumping on Republicans for any sign of softness. Last week Lieberman proposed we allow more Palestinians into America. Sandra Feldman, president of the AFT, wants Sami Al-Arian backing teaching at the University of South Florida, the American Library Association (Democrats of course) wants to send aid to Palestianina libraries and cultural institutions.

We don't hear much about all that. But let Mueller meet with a Muslim group and all heck breaks out in the media.

The term "racial profiling" has been so abused by people like the guy quoted and others in this country that its really getting annoying. Last time I checked...the people who've either committed, failed to commit, or were plotting to carry out terrorist activities involving this country were not only ALL Muslim and mostly Arab (except for Reid and Padilla), but also were ALL MALE and ALL approx. 20-40 YEARS OLD! So how the hell can it just be called "Racial Profiling" when the people being "profiled" are also YOUNG and MALE!?! The actual profile we are looking for is much more specific than just race! I guess the terms Age Profiling and Gender Profiling just dont have the PC clout that the term Racial Profiling has.

Im just flat out sick of the term "Racial Profiling"...its almost never used accurately by those who invoke it.
