I read a post tonite that was from an Israeli newspaper that said the shooter was an ex El Al employee. Anybody else see it[I can`t find it now]? Would El Al hire somebody from Egypt? Maybe I had a senior momment?

What do you wanna bet that this ID with the July 4th Birthday is fake? We won't even know if this guy is really Egyptian.

To: bybybill
The peice you refer to makes reference to a mexican saying it was an El Al. I believe this came out before the positive ID of the A-Rab. So that was a reference to someone else's speculation before the real truth actualy came out.

The 4:25 AM WSJ report - stock will probably go up today since there were no terrorist incidents yesterday.

Uh..right...just a hate crime in an airport. Surely this won't affect the stocks of tourism, entertainment, and travel companies...

He was said to have two drivers' licenses, one of them stating his birthday as July 4.
I didn't see this in the story you linked... do you have a source?

How many more of these 'sleepers' are there, that have been here 10 years or more, have been given jobs, freedom, the chance to raise a family, own a home, live the American dream, in our country just waiting for their chance to strike?
How many have entered our country since 9/11?

My dear, you've had the power to stop terrorism the whole time. Just click your heels together three times and repeat,
"It was not a terrorist attack.
It was not a terrorist attack.
It was not a terrorist attack."

The FBI does not get it, the President does not get it, the Congress does not get it; Everybody does not get it except for, maybe, a few Freepers:
Political Correctness has caused all of this to happen. We are baked as a country, my friends. The news media will still not call this incident what it actually is. At first the FBI spokesman would not reveal this Terrorists' nationality; the spokesman would only refer to him as a gunman and then all the knuckleheads are saying that this incident in isolated, yeah right....
All we get from the C-I-C is: Islam means peace. Muslims are loving people, yeah Right, Georgie Boy....

A 52-year-old Egyptian male unloads a .45 at the Israeli airlines ticket counter and the authorities are inclined to believe that it's a random act of violence that, coincidentally, occurred at that particular counter?

Perhaps Islam is the perect religion with which to put into place a terrible form of
mind control? The Russkies were perfecting mind control techniques back in the 1960's .... There were claims that their techniques allowed sleeper agents to sleep perfectly until a telephone call came out of the blue. Is there any certainty that we are not dealing now with sleep agents who are under mind control?

The last shooting at a U.S. airport was in May when a Pensacola, Florida, man opened fire at a ticket counter at the main airport in New Orleans, killing one person and wounding another.
Authorities said Patrick Gott, a Muslim man who was charged in the shooting, told them he opened fire because people had made fun of his turban at a restaurant shortly before he went to the airport.

Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn added: "It appears this was an isolated incident." A Bush administration source concurred with that statement, adding that nothing suggested it was anything other than a criminal act. It's all terrorism to the victims, the people working at the ticket counters, and the customers around them. All crime is TERRORISM, even white collar crime.

The Russians have always had agents in the Middle East and alot of them became
free agents for hire, with the fall of the Soviet Union.
I wouldn't doubt there are former Soviet block agents that would sell this kind of expertise, to the terrorists, for the right price.
This terrorist is dead. Now we have to see what kind of evidence he left behind. How hard the authorities will work to determine if he was a member of 'Egyptian Jihad' or another terrorist organization, without obvious evidence to indicate these ties, isn't clear.
Also unclear is, based on the way the authorities are spinning this attack, will they tell us, if they find the evidence?

Two El Al security guards confronted the subject along with a private citizen who was in the area and began to subdue him. The subject was shot and died at the scene during that interaction."Good, better, best. Do not arrest, do not subdue, do not apprehend.
For all the good interrogation might do, if we do it in "our" politically correct and nice way, we'll get nothing but lies and misdirection.
Take 'em out, permanently. Make their brethren aware that death is their fate.
We could and should learn a lot from the Israelis. Hunt them down and kill them. The sham court proceedings going on with Moussaoui, Lindh and Padilla are instructive as to the uselessness. Hopefully, they are done so, in the belief that once the public sees the OJ like trials, they will readily endorse the quick, brutal and final military tribunal style of justice.
I, for one, am sick to death of worrying about stepping on an airliner, not knowing my fate. My wife and three kids and two of my children's friends are flying out of Detroit today, to San Diego.
Mark my words, if anything happens to them, I will personally find the time and resources to avenge the harm.
I know in my heart of hearts that I am not alone in thinking this way.

They could find UBL's home phone number in his home and this would still be an "isolated incident". I don't think gov.org is doing us any favors with this line of bullcrap.
Any chance we could get the truth for once? naaah...

Thanks for the ping.
He was said to have two drivers' licenses, one of them stating his birthday as July 4.
There is more here than meets the eye. Normal people don't carry 2 drivers license with obviously different birth dates. Texas carries a 2 thousand dollar fine for having 2 drivers license.
The gunman's identity was obtained through fingerprints and records on file with the state Department of Motor Vehicles, which had issued Hadayet a license to drive a limousine, the FBI said.
This does not mean that his real name is Hesham Mohamed Hadayet if he was placed here as a potential terrorist.
To: the crow
They could find that his limosine service was registered as 'Death to America', 'Death to Israel', or 'Death to the Great Satan' and still insist this was a random act of violence that,
coincidentally, took place in front of the El Al ticket counter on the 4th of July.

That was one of those rhetorical questions.
I've got the gist of it. Based on the present Muslim population in the U.S. and the percentage that are believed to be jihadists, it's around 800,000.
I think I'll be driving to the airport myself from now on. No limos or taxis, thank you very much.

This quote from AP:
"Neighbors said Hadayet was quiet but became incensed when an upstairs neighbor hung large American and Marine Corps flags from a balcony above his front door after Sept. 11. The flags remained there Thursday night.
That neighbor declined to talk to reporters, but another neighbor, Steve Thompson, said Hadayet "complained about it to the apartment manager. He thought it was being thrown in his face."

An El Al official in Tel Aviv, Amos Shapira, said the airline had heightened security recently because of information received from both U.S. and Israeli authorities. Then why is our government telling us this was an isolated incident unconnected with terrorism? They must think we're pretty stupid.

He does look Egyptian. He may be a lone nut, but a terrorist none the less.
I say that because I have a guy just like him that has begun to show up at the place I manage. After 12 years of never having had a customer from the Middle East, two began to show up, each and every day for the past 6/7 weeks. I was worried at first, a little, because of the warning issued about terrorist looking for very crowded places with alot of customers to attack. They seem ok, at first they were unfriendly, now they are friendly, flirtaous even.
The problem is now and then a third man shows up with them, sometimes he comes alone, a guy in his 40's, the disdain/hatred just oozes from his pores, he's very hostile, volital. He was cussing one of the employee's in his native language, she had no idea what his problem was and just kept on moving. He's a nut.
He may not have a terroist connection, who knows..but he would obviously be sympathetic to causes and people that hate Americans, because they have so much in common with him.
I can see a guy like him going off even though he may not be connected directly with a terrorist organization. This gunman at LAX may not have a terrorist connection, or have been ordered to attack, he may have just done it on his own, but he is a terrorist, the FBI needs to admit it. To my mind a terrorist doesn't need to be connected to an organization.

There are literally hundreds of thousands of these people in our country. They hate the ground we walk on.
The enemies are inside the gates, and our government continues to allow in approximately 8,000 Middle Easterners a month on visas!
8,000 a month!!!
This is not including the thousands a day entering from the south, from God knows where.
There is no bigger, more dangerous threat to this nation.
