We will meet for dinner Friday night at the Ramada Inn after our Troops Rally. The Ramada Inn is located about 1/2 mile east of 911 Patriot Place. I am trying to get them to hold a private room for us and still let us order from the menu.
I will need a head count.
If you are planning to join us for dinner, let me or Mama_Bear know. If you are arriving late, come join us for a drink and/or a snack.

But I have one question: Who's idea was it for 105 degrees as forecasted? There goes the bike ride...guess I'll wimp out for the car a/c.

I'm going to try and make it for the rally, but I'm facing Los Angeles rush hour traffic so I may not meet up with you folks till later.

Count me in for dinner but I'm bringing lemonade to the street corner. Just noticed that the weather service increased the temperature forcast to 108F on Friday at 6p.m. (probably closer to 112 next to the curb).

The lemonade or anything refreshing will be needed. I am bringing water and will bring a few extra bottles. We are also planning to have shade so we can get out of the sun for a few minutes.
If it's 108, we probably won't have many traitors to protest.

Sorry that I haven't written sooner. My computer crashed the other day, and I just got it back. I am afraid I won't be able to make it out to Fresno. I have a commitment, and I haven't been able to get out of it. I will let you know if things change. I also want to thank you and all the freepers for your hard work and dedication. Hi Mama_Bear ~ I brought up info on the park, but didn't find anything on rules. Is the park doggie friendly? That may change my overall count on those coming w/ me, but won't alter your tri tip count. Please let me know. A couple of chihuahuas usually travel everywhere w/ us, and I'd hate to get there and find out they were not allowed. If that is the case, the humans will still attend.

Great! We have such a fun bunch of people coming. It will be HOT, but we will have a great time anyway. We will have lots of cold drinks and ice and great food. We aren't going to let a little heat bother us. :-)

Go figure; you live life @ ankle level and haven't a clue that you're a munchkin! These are cool little Fido FReepers! Plenty of ego to go around.

LOL! Oh, great - now I have insulted our little Modesto veteran FReeper! What way to start out this weekend! LOL! And, I should have known better. Our beloved little Chihuahua was a BIG dog at heart ... she would take on any dog on the block. (Although I think she thought she was a person, just real short.) LOL!!

I have asked Amy about the park rules for canines - one of us will let you know. :-)

Good news ....... the park IS doggie friendly. Bucky is more than welcome. How much tri-tip will the little BIG DOG eat? LOL!! Sure want to keep Bucky happy since I've started out on the wrong foot with him. :-)
