Dear Dixie, were would I start? Basically the road was in severe need of repair, we asked to get it done, and then it turned into the nightmare of a life time. What was supposed to be just a simple re-paving and a little widening of a country road turned into a massive land grab in WV! Now that is the simple version of it here in and around Hinton.....the complications come from the NPS, US Fish and Wildlife, DNR, EPA, etc. and so on.....using such items as Heritage Areas, Scenic Byways, Scenic Parkways, Historical sites and so on and so on.....but the main issue about all of these so called programs, is to steal land away from the landowners! Period! That is the whole reason for all of them!

Haven't you figured out yet that rural America is not intended to serve as your home? These areas have to preserved as quiet places where no commerce takes place, so the liberals can go there to escape the unbearable urban toilets they've created for themselves in those "Blue" states.

Yes Alberta, unfortunately I have figured it out, but what these nuts have not figured out is that I and the Sisters of the River (our group) are not at all push-overs and are fighting like she-bears and will continue to take it all the way to the US Supreme Court if we have too!

I wish your group all the best and will be praying for justice for you all.
Please update me whenever you can.

It would speed up the process to a point where private property would be the equivalent of the horse and buggy. Here we go with the horse & buggy again, PL! :)
