That is why Bush doesn't consider the NAACP worthy - it's not a Civil Rights organization, it's a shill for irrational leftists.

Now why would Bush want to speak to these people?

There is NO upside for GW to speak to the NAACP.
Hell, they're already ridiculing him for his appearance at their 2000 convention! They do not listen when he speaks. They openly support/endorse democrat candidates (which probably violates their 501(c)3 status - but they know no one will prosecute them).... they will, in all likelihood, vote 92% +/- for dems in November.

Speaking to them would be an utter waste of GW's time - and only provide them with sound-bites to edit into some twisted DNC campaign ad.
