"Children, Youth and Gun Violence," from the nonprofit David and Lucile Packard Foundation, says that in experimental research settings youngsters who've been through "gun-avoidance" programs are just as likely as others to find and play with guns.

I got this far and stepping waaaay out on a limb I'm going to predict the want more much much more in the way of gunlaws..

That's why the report -- which says 20,000 youngsters are killed or injured by guns every year in this country

Am I the only one who has a problem with this?

Too dumb to learn gun safety at any age, but plenty smart enough in kindergarten to learn about homosexuality, the use of condoms, same sex marriage, and whatever else the human garbage of the political left aspires to indictrinate our children into.

Ive been shooting firearms since Ive been o lets say about six. That is 31 years so far and I only now 5 people that have been shot and some died. 2 by a hunting accident, one that tried to comment suicide and failed. (what a fool) and the rest were in the service. Which were two. They're still alive and some of the best people I know. None of them were under the age of 17

Also I grew up in a city that had over 250 murders a year.

I shoot over 500 rounds a month easly. plus! I shoot all types of guns from flintlocks to bmg's. And I can tell you I would rather hang out with people that know what I know than people that dont. And yes you are probably the only one here that might have a problem with this...sorry

I wish you well, go find a nice person that knows firearms and have them teach you about them if you dont know. You might just understand that these stats are wrong. If there not then I guess I have been a very lucky person. And I will continue to be one!

stay cool and safe

have a nice night

Yeah, like I am going to believe this "study", rather than hundreds of years of PROOF that children can be taught to be safe around guns.

Of course, I would believe that children being raise by liberals are incapable of learning gun safety....

I was questioning their 20,000 youngster figure. 20,000 a year? What do they mean by injured? For that matter what do they mean by youngster, a 6yr 13yr 18yr. The whole sentence strikes me as hype of the worst kind.

I find your messages interesting and pretty much agree. I believe you meant post 66 for someone else though,I can't find where I have made a response to you on this particular thread. Easy mistake to make the way the pages are set up now.
