He won't be there...There are about 4 threads that have gone on about the chaos in Marco Island. I will link the different threads to this thread. This is getting messy, yet all national media will not touch this story. Could it be because it is with a former UN employee? or is it the fact that he is a Saudi?? We don't dare touch a Saudi in the U.S. or blame them for anything.

Assumed it was the judge but now maybe the cops.DA a possibility as well, since someone was supposed to say something like "people request NO BAIL" and apparently no one did.

Just changed my mind.
Marco police thought they covered their bases by putting, "due to the nature of the crime, the suspect was given no bond" in the report, said Capt. Thom Carr, Marco's police spokesman.
If they'd really wanted him to stay in the country, they would have added "extremely high flight risk" to that sentence.

I'm pretty sure (nationally syndicated radio talk-show host) Neal Boortz's Florida house is on Marco Island. I sent him a link to the first Marco Island rape when that was breaking, don't think he covered it. He's on vacation now; I sure wish we could at least get him to pick up this story, if we can't get the national lamestream media to do so.

I am just sitting here hoping that, since there have now been three articles about this, and since the guy was a former UN POS who was on a Crime Prevention Committee, that SOME lamestream source will finally pick this up. When is Boortz's vacation over?

In his culture, this would never have happened. A young girl would never be left with a man who wasn't related to her because the men cannot be trusted. There is very little disincentive to rape when the burden of proof is several witnesses. And the victim is likely to be punished. I bet many rapes are not even reported.
