STANTON - A desperate search for the sexual predator who killed Samantha Runnion ended Friday with the arrest of a man acquitted last year of molesting a former friend of hers.

I read just recently that in Iran a rapist was sentenced to be tied in a bag and thrown off a cliff. If he survived that then he would be hanged until dead. Somehow, even this doesn't seem harsh enough for Samanthas killer.

He needs to be given a fair trial. If he is found guilty, he needs to be taken out and burned at the stake. Either that or just let him go, but announce ahead of time when and where he will be released.

He was molesting the 5 yr. old daughter of his girlfriend? How is it he continued to see the girl at the apartment complex? Odd. It's really sad that the scumbag got away with it and murdered another little girl. Here's hoping he's put away for good this time. But, no doubt, there will be some liberal idiot arguing for the "rehabilitation" of these evil people and giving them another chance. Makes you so angry.

Some years ago a male child molester was being returned to Baton Rouge Lousiana after being apprehended out of state. The father of the abused child waited in the airport and pretended to be talking on a phone in the lobby. When the molester of his son was near enough he shot him dead and then gave himself up to the police whom were escorting the prisoner. This was a case of first degree pre-meditated murder. The jury did not convict him. Sometimes a jury does make the right decision to ignore the law.
