I'd say, find a better source.

Not necessary. This guy must be some sort of expert, because his #1 prediction is dead-on. I'll trust that his credentials are impeccable. ;-)

All that will be left of her is a brown stain @ the 40.

Sky-diving w/out a parachute accomplishes the same results.

But why shouldn't qualified men be allowed to play on the Penn State women's basketball team?

Because they already have a men's team.

LOL. I think it's implied that, by publishing that opinion, TSN is trumpeting it as their own.

Well then, now that you published it on Free Republic, I guess it’s FR’s official predicition as well.

Good luck, but I don’t see Penn State anywhere near a national championship, though they will be miles closer than my alma mater.

Try having Rutgers season tickets year after year, and you’ll see why I’m bitter.

The ladies can form a women's football team any time they want.

Didnt the court also rule that a disabled child who needed to use a walker was entitled to play soccer and could not be denyed a spot on the team?

LOL. I'm beginning to see that this may be an indefensible position...

You have a new coach, don't you? Maybe he'll turn things around.

All they will do is change the rules to disallow contact with any kicker. Lower the standards, it's good for everybody.

There goes football - down the PC drain.

If they do men should be allowed to try out.

Note that we don't preface football with the word "men's", which indicates that it is not gender exclusive.

We don't use that preface, because women haven't taken upon themselves to start a women's football team. They can do hat anytime they want. Of course, like women's basketball, it would be dominated by lesbians, and few would watch it.

However, if this girl's good enough to make the team on her ability, great. Just don't give her a free ride and claim it as proof that women can compete with men.

Exactly. But this is not what usually happens.

Let it be said right here and now that "dead" has Rutgers season tickets. This will be used to rebut any argument he makes about any subject at any time. Rutgers was 0-11 one year that I attended graduate school there.

OH AND ELEVEN!

I wanted to be head football coach. I know very little about coaching, but how much worse can I be? Plus, I'll work for half the exorbitant salary.

NL, Rutgers has structural recruiting problems, which Penn State may start to experience once JoePa leaves.

I'd like to see some pics of Kathy Ireland on this thread pronto. The Ann Coulter rule should be in effect for other women too.

That’s the hope.

He’s been recruiting very very well.

His game coaching is still a question mark. It’s too early to tell how he’ll coach when he gets real players.

If she had to kick 100 times from 30 yards in, I would say she makes 98 of them.

I'm sorry but 98% accuracy under 30 yards means nothing if you have 0% accuracy over 37 yards.

Why would they want to? A person should want to play with the top notch competition to better themselves and at any college with both a guys and girls team. Lets face it, a guys basketball team will whip a girls team every day of the week. So if girls want to play with tougher competition I say go for it if you can make the team. Thats how you grow as an individual, not being satisfied with second best but going out and being the best, which means beating the best. In this case its a football team which there is no girls team. If she feels she can compete then by all means let her do it.
