Pssst, mister. Wanna learn about a scandal bigger than Enron and World Com combined?
Pssst, lady. Wanna learn about billions of dollars squandered, hundreds of millions of lives diminished by a thirty-year scam?
Surprise! It's hiding in plain sight in the New York Times Magazine for July 7. It's the cover story, no less, a huge article, maybe 5,000 words. The title is a coy question because, finally, the NYTimes editors have no more guts than an amoeba, but the facts are all there, diligently answering the question posed, What If It's All Been a Big Fat Lie?
For thirty years, under the direction of the selfless gurus of the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration, a string of comic Surgeons General--in short, the PC crowd that hangs on year after year and suffers not a whit for their incompetence--we, all of us, have been told what to eat in order to stay thin, beautiful, and healthy, and it's all wrong, wrong, wrong.

This is an amazing discovery and terrific analysis of this piece in New York Time.
Here is a related article from Fox News, yesterday. A man filed a lawsuit against Mickey-D's for fat hamburgers!

Atkins works for me and FrogDad - it is effortless.
How can I not love a diet that allows me to eat bacon and butter and still lose weight? Not only that, we sleep better and feel better.

Amazing claim in that article referenced in this piece that 1/3 of Americans are at risk with a low-fat diet. Talk about a colossal blunder! The government health organizations with EGG on their face? Say it ain't so...
