VALLEY PARK, Missouri (CNN) -- Authorities were searching Friday for a 6-year-old girl who police say was abducted from her family's home.

Cassandra "Casey" Williamson was last seen inside her house around 7 a.m. (8 a.m. EDT) by her parents and was reported missing half an hour later, said Sgt. Bob Frohne of the St. Louis County Police Department. She was wearing a white nightgown, he said.
