Richard Blum Plumbs Nasdaq's Ruins

San Francisco, July 29 (Bloomberg) -- For three years, Richard Blum watched the Internet bubble grow from the balcony of his fourth-floor office, where Buddhist prayer flags rustle in the breeze from San Francisco Bay. His 27-year-old investment firm, Blum Capital Partners LP, avoided soaring technology stocks.

Twice, Ralph Blum has failed to buy the governorship of California, once for his wife, Dianne Feinstein (now Senator) and again with Alfred Checchi (not to be be confused with Cheech Marin).

And we all know how Blum's friend Jiang Zemin believes in the Carter Center and human rights.
