"I can't live with myself if I killed her," he said.

If?

If he can't live with himself if he killed her why is he on trial? Why is he fighting it? Damn.

"It was right in the middle of her head?" Chase asked police investigators in a videotaped interview shortly after the shooting that was shown to jurors Tuesday during the second day of the trial. "What are the chances of that?"

Slim to none. But it happened.

"Infinitesimal," Lt. Richard Zapal replied on the tape. "I don't think you could do that if you wanted to."

Which means, of course, that manslaughter is the highest he can be charged with.

But who wrote this title? I checked out the thread because I was interested in the technology that could catapault a woman through the ceiling of a townhouse.

Shalom.

How much do you want to bet that the contractor gets sued in civil court for not making the floor bullet proof... vicarious liability.

Police said they found 15 empty liquor bottles in the kitchen, including several in the sink.

I find that hard to believe. Is it possible to drink that much and not be comatose? I suppose they could have been small bottles?

Quincy would be able to prove that it was one of Bubba's enemies who heard the original gunshot, came in with his silencer and shot the woman to frame him, and removed the original bullet.

Shalom.

I always shoot my gun through the floor hoping no one is downstairs. Is that a crime?

If the NYPD had had this guy on their side last year in that alley, there would have been no witnesses to have a trial.

Don't you know that in some places (Canada comes to mind), making parts of your house bulletproof can actually be a felony?
