Despite President Bush's call for quick action, several Senate Democrats maneuvered on Friday to put the brakes on a vote to give congressional backing to a possible military strike on Iraq. Hm, now why could that be?
Could it be that Rush Limbaugh is right, and the Dems really want this thing off the agenda right now, since it is absolutely stupefying their attempts to tie Bush to corporate greed and the economy?
Hey, Dems (you sh*t-faces!) Don't you know, "it's national security, stupid!"

Yeah, Tom Daschle and Dem Club Asshole Members, who cares if more innocent people get killed or maimed, it's the season to be political, isn't it?
The drums should be beat loud and continuous about this Democrat disregard for the life of American citizens in favor of their political manipulations.
These people are not only sick, they are dangerous to our children...

That could be a new RNC ad:
Democrates -- Dangerous to our National Security and to Your Children!
Too bad no-one at the RNC is man enough to state the obvious Truth!

"These people are not only sick, they are dangerous to our children."
They are also stupid. This will not fly with the American people.....can you say "minority leader dasshole". Sounds good.

And our "progeny" on down the line...

This is just making me grit my teeth. There have been sixteen, SIXTEEN resolutions passed by the UN in regards to Iraq, and Hussein is still flouting the rules.

``This senator is not, now or ever, going to be stampeded. Has to be voted on before the election? Forget it,'' (said) ByrdSenile old fool! Bush has set up the bait, and this dummy has stepped right into the trap.
Go ahead, Byrd. Don't be "stampeded" until after the Elections, making your oh-so-important deliberations that mean absolutely ZERO. I can think of no better way for a bunch of sound asleep voters to wake up and smell the coffe about what the Dems are really all about. It's all about their jobs and power, not about the safety and well being of America.
Go ahead, Sucker,... make our day! This will be the only story in the headlines until Election Day!!

A number of Democrats and some Republicans argue Congress should give the United Nations a chance to enforce its requirements for Saddam to disarm before authorizing a unilateral U.S. military strike. Haven't they had 11 years to enforce their requirements? U.N. resolutions aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

This will not fly with the American people.....can you say "minority leader dasshole". With pleasure, especially when "Dasshole" is pronounced correctly. Three syllables, the first is "D".
It means the same thing as "Clymer", only smaller of course.

[Byrd]
Senile old fool! True perhaps. But we all owe Senator a debt of gratitude for singlehandedly preventing amnesty for illegals!

Calm down everyone...
This is all part of the setup strategy (or, rather, strategery!) by Bush.
Just like the UN, pretty soon, the RAT controlled Senate will notice they have also been checkmated.
Let 'em rant - it adds fuel to the fire for election day!

This is exactly what the Fall election is all about. Thake a look at these Democrats, willing to sacrifice their country's security for political gain, and see clearly what the stakes are. Vote early and vote often.

" Bush has set up the bait, and this dummy has stepped right into the trap."
I felt all along, that Bush was sitting back and letting the Dems slither along to the end of the branch and now, he is starting to saw it in half. Lieberman and Biden seem to have crawled back, but, it seems that some Dems are willing to cling to the twigs, rather than give President anything he wants, even in a war.
To: Gritty
They sure stampeded Byrd's sorry ass into voting not guilty in Slick Willie's case.
To: Vidalia
Just what do they think Saddam will think of their waiting? Hm......I would think he would decide maybe I ought to get my best shot in now before they send the guns.

I'm not one for bumper stickers, but maybe it's time (if some one on FR knows how to make them.
Hey! Democrats..IRAQ..It's NATIONAL SECURITY..STUPID!

"A number of Democrats and some Republicans argue Congress should give the United Nations a chance to enforce"
which republicans??? We all know, despite the presstitutes hand-wringing, a dozen dems and half dozen pubbs, are not nearly enough to STOP cloture and voting on a resolution.
... this means the press knows it is a foregone conclusion that they will cave rather than being painted as traitors in an election year...
game, set and match for liberty and the defense of freedom.

we all owe Senator (Byrd) a debt of gratitude for singlehandedly preventing amnesty for illegals! He probably thought he was voting for a dozen unnecessary new federal buildings in West Virginia.
