Everyone seems to have their face saving explanations aabout 1991 and why Saddam still rules. What struck me about Gore is parent blaming - akin to saying "your mama!" And who cares much now?

Hey Gore you schmuck!

Which flag is on the airplane you see here in Kandahar, Afghanistan?

U.S. soldiers in Bamiyan, Afghanistan, salute their flag on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002.

A German helicopter, part of the international peacekeeping forces in Afghanistan, hovers around the city of Kabul on September 19.

Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal (R) poses for group photo with (L-R) President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, U.S. President George W. Bush and Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, September, 12, 2002. Gee Al, looks we are abandoning Karzai.

Gore is such a PUTZ. Has he been smoking something or is he just back to his old habit of just plain LYING about everything.

Hey, I liked the other picture better!

In my fantasy world, Tony Blair announces that we have the body of OBL, that Saddam has nuclear weapons almost ready RIGHT HERE on this map, and Bill Clinton knew and was paid off to keep quiet.

But I will settle for Blair making a good case with his dossier and once again the Rats scrambling for a new position.

The only reason Gore thinks the President has 'abandoned' Afghanistan is because the liberal networks aren't covering it anymore- only FOX does hourly updates from the region. Only proves where Gore gets his information from. I say keep letting this pompus windbag talk until he explodes. No one is listening, even though the liberal networks would have you believe otherwise.

Let the Dims dig their own graves. They already have Gore to thank for the first five feet.

I was there in that war and followed the debate very closely. Bush couldn't get the votes without a promise to limit the campaign to Iraq. He's been blasted unfairly for that for 11 years now, and I hope Dubya finally sets that straight and points out that hypocricy.

I don't think Dubya will miss this opportunity to quote from Dems in 1998. He's avoided partisanship to this point, and properly so. But that was the tactic he used so effectively against the U.N. in his speech, so you know his people have all those other quotes ready to run when needed.

I think that's one reason few Democratic Senators have spoken out. They know that Bush has got the goods on them, and they're scared that they'll be exposed as hypocrites if their tune changes from 1998.

If I am correct, he will make a lot of smarmy comments which will be refuted when Blair releases that dossier tomorrow. Ha!

Solomon is thought to be a pretty sensible guy. One thing he said [essentially]: How foolish, how tragic, to draw conclusions without knowing all the facts.

Gore burned his bridge right before Blair's dossier? LOL!

From what I heard Hannity say about Gore's speech, finding self-contradicting statements before the speeech was even finished, I don't think we would need a Free Republic Forum if there were a speech like this every day. I might as well take the day off. LOL. Freegards....

If ALGore wanted my astute political advice, (and he doesn't) I would suggest that if he wants the (re)Presidential nomination in 2004 that he should begin by attacking Bill and Hillary Clinton. Gore should launch a pre-emptive strike to knee-cap these two rectal cavities.

I would start with a mea culpa to the American people. Bare his corrupt soul before the masses and literally, and I mean literally, on TV, get down on his hands and knees and beg their forgiveness.

Having done so, he should rise to his feet and unload a salvo of the most vehement diatribe against these two traitors as has ever been made. Go right for Hillary's jugular with every dirty trick, lie and crime Al knows she committed during those 8 long and crime-ridden years.

In a symbolic moment I would have him literally wash his hands (ala Pontius Pilate) in front of the citizens of this country. Declare the Clinton era a sham, a lie, and a disaster.

Finish by stating that he intends to run, and from this day forward he will not prevaricate, he will not spin, he will not deceive the American people. And that if he loses the election, it will not be because he failed to tell the truth or do the right thing.

Now he would still lose in a landslide for Bush, but at least history might frame him as his own man for the rest of his miserable life. But the best part would be to see him unload on Hillary. Man, I'd pay to see that!

I just heard part of his miserable talk on TV. He trashed GWB big time, saying that the Iraq plan was a bad one that would cause more problems than would be solved. The RATS are all on that same theme and constantly criticize the Prez. These political RATS are all crazed traitors, but that's my opinion.

He cannot. Do you actually think they only made copies of GOP FBI files ?

You know, I think I have the answer to those darn FBI files.

Mueller should announce that the spy guy (whose name I forget..arrested last year and was a big high mucky-muck in the FBI) was involved in FALSIFYING INFORMATION DURIING THE CLINTON ERA. All information from those files could be declared false, everyone gets a "go and sin no more" pass, and the Clintons are neutralized.

Maybe he'll try to tell us he discovered Iraq.

Al invented sweat. Florida's McBride is improving on Al's invention. These two guys should run in ads for Lever Brothers (a soap company).

If you felt so betrayed by Gulf War 1, Al, why didn't you go in and do something about the guy when you were in office?

How do you know that Osama and his cronies are not dead? Sure doesn't seem like he's been doing many interviews for the past ten months.

Yes, abdicating responsibility to the UN is the way to go. ::geesh:: Al, you knucklehead you...

No blame necessary. 8^D

I have a deep and troubling appreciation of Beavis's "Cornholio" period. My wife must be so proud!

Come to think of it, owlgore and Cornholio sound quite similar...
