September 24, 2002 -- JERUSALEM - Three members of a Palestinian terror cell who trained in Iraq's military camps have been arrested as they tried to make their way back into Israel, officials said yesterday.
Israeli media reported that officials were flying to Washington to personally brief the CIA on the arrests, which took place as the United States readied its forces for battle with Baghdad.

This is good to know. Probably explains why we are now shifting gears and moving ahead with smallpox vaccinations. The Israelis surged ahead months ago and started vaccination programs. Probably received intel on it and alarmed started vaccinating.
Now the U.S. has began to energize its vaccination programs, and about time, too!
No doubt about it now, folks; Iraq has smallpox bioweapons.
Khidhir Hamza, the top Iraqi scientist who defected in 1995, talks about moving his family to a new ranch north of Baghdad. It turned out that his next door neighbor was a PLO training camp. In his book, "Saddam's Bombmaker", Hamza devotes a couple of pages to various encounters with folks from the camp.
