Nice remark from Shallenburger.

Given the issues, literally "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", it is incomprehensible to me that any republican could vote for any democrat, ever. This party has become synonomous with America's enemies, taking the stand most favored by satan himself on every single issue.

How bad is this guy? It's unheard of that a democrat
is drawing 40% of the Republican polled. Whycome?

The person who should be winning this race in a romp for the GOP put her "heart" ahead of her political ambition.

Sebelius has portrayed herself as a DLC moderate Democrat and has painted Shallenburger as a crazy wingnut.

Kansas' RINO soccer mommies like their "Republican" politicians to be soft and squishy (and non-conservative), like Bill Graves or Bob Dole. Like RINOs everywhere, they MUCH prefer a liberal DemocRat to a conservative Republican any day of the week.

Of the Republicans polled, 42 percent said they would vote for Sebelius while 53 percent said they would vote for Shallenburger. I know little about Kansas but this is shocking.

Their position on high taxes alone is enough to wipe out liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The state wanted Carla Stovall. Since she wasn't available, they chose Sebelius.

Kudos to the far right in Kansas. You're gonna lose the
election but by god you got your point across.

It's real easy to see why some of the Repubs are jumping ship.
It's because they're nothing but a bunch of PANSY FREAKING RINO'S. Who believe that it's ok to kill the unborn, that the demorats are ok in going after evil assualt rifles, that if we pass concealed carry we'll be back to Hollywierd Dodge City behavior on every street.
In short, there are some republicans here in Kansas who are intellectualy defiecent and can not nor will not stand on values.

Midwestern states aren't big on strident conservatives. Brownback had an opponent with a nice last name when he won, but Sebelius has been elected statewide and presents a stronger challenge. Stovall could beat her, but Shallenburger is out of step with many Kansans. Kansas isn't Idaho.
