I believe he plagiarized a "reader review" of a book posted on a website -- probably amazon.com. The book, which he mentioned in his speech, was a mystery novel about the president of a small womens' college.

Clinton, NY ... president ... resigns ... hmmmmm This is getting downright eerie. This story out of Clinton NY. Disgraced Kentucky Governor Patton's mistress (a woman scorned, always dangerous) in Clinton, KY. And the discovery of some misprinted absentee ballots for the upcoming Missouri Senatorial race (with the party affiliations reversed) in Clinton, MO.

He also served as chair of the history department and director of the American studies program. More dishonesty in the American history profession.
