email ^ | October 2, 2002 | John & Ken (KFI 640-AM)

Posted on 10/02/2002 4:41:43 PM PDT by RonDog

"Dump DAVIS!" FReep ALERT!!!

From an e-mail sent out earlier today:

**Tomorrow (10/3/2002) on the John & Ken Show, we take our $104,000 offer to Governor "Joe" Davis to his campaign office here in LA.

That's the payoff we're offering him to debate Bill Simon on our show.

The location is 9911 West Pico Blvd. on the westside (we'll be outside on the sidewalk).

Check our website ("Newslinks") for the area map.

We'll have the money and tofu berry shakes and more goodies that we think the "gov" just can't refuse.

That's Thursday (10/2) beginning at 3 PM.

If you can't make it, tune in and hear the party on KFI AM 640, More Stimulating Talk Radio!**

Thanks to Jon & Ken......they started here in NJ and nearly singlehandedly rid us of Florio!

And it looks like we need them back. Jim "I hate cell phones" Gearhart and the afternoon boneheads that NJ101.5 have on now are useless. Can we borrow them for a month or two? Please?

(If someone is in their listening area, tell them that New Jersey needs them to call into NJ101.5 to wake up the current hosts.)

It is not yet CONFIRMED, but the "eGray Hooker" may be there, too!

You can see him in action at the "Baghdad Barb" FReep in Hollywood last week at:

Great Street Theater has to be seen to be believed! And in that spirit, we present a new Freeper video, produced on the hard streets of Hollywood, in front of the Kodak Theater. You can't miss this one, starring RonDog, Mercuria, their loyal allies and the baffled Hollywood masses. (Half of them have barely heard of Gray Davis!)

View the Video! (you will be able to select download speed).

It's been a while since FRIVA. But we finally got takebackcongress.org up and running. Big response so far. We have been up less than 24 hours and have 411 hits.

From www.takebackcongress.org:

Take Back Congress -- 2002 Home

Hillary Clinton and Tom Daschle are obstructing the business of our nation.

The Senate Democrats will not pass the President's Homeland Defense Bill, they give tepid support to the President's War on Terror, they will not pass a budget, will not make tax relief permanent and stubbornly refuse to confirm the President's judicial nominees.

The country's business is at a standstill for one reason--The Democrats control the Senate.
Hillary Clinton and Tom Daschle want this administration to fail, even if it means losing the war on terror (remember the sour expressions and eyerolling by Hillary during the President's speech to congress right after 911?).

This website is a resource guide for conservatives interested in taking back the Senate and putting America back on track.

Remember how EVERY damned democrat was thrown out of office in NJ.

Yes I do. I was a state worker at the time. I lost my job because of the sales tax roll-back. Am I bitter? No! I voted Republican and managed to get a private sector job. It's called "putting the interests of your state before your own interests" or, more simply, "doing the right thing". I have put my money where my mouth is.

OK I have my black pantsuit and my witches hat now. Ready to rumble! I hope to be there tomorrow, if I don't get lost on the way there. Looks like I take 10 from Claremont to Pico Blvd., pretty much goes almost to that street. I got all my Los Angeles maps out today, I think I can find it.

I missed their SUV parade to Sacremento, ALMOST went. I LOVE THOSE GUYS! I sure miss them when I am in Texas. We call them the good host/bad host whenever one of them gets to ranting and raving and the other one tries to remain calm. I LOVE IT!

Davis will be too afraid to debate, since it will only hurt his shaky poll numbers when voters hear him, especially if he loses his temper!
Contrary to L.A. Times poll, Simon is closing the gap
Will Bill Simon call into the John and Ken show tomorrow?

I checked out the venue, and parking will be a BEAR.
The best place to park may actually be INSIDE the 9911 building parking structure.
It costs $1.85 for each 15 minutes (!), with a $16 maximum, but street parking is almost non-existent at that time of day - rush hour.

I plan to get there EARLY - around 2:30 pm, and introduce myself to John and Ken.

I would like for them to see that WE can be good for THEM, and vice versa.

I would also like for them to promote our DEBATE FReep on Monday (10/7) from 11 am to noon, but NOT our "secret" FReep...

Shhhh.... (Please FReepmail me for details.)

Maybe we can get some more overpriced wine and have the parking validated? That was the one bright spot on Sunday night, parking was only two bucks.
