Lautenberg up 11 in new RAT poll!
Posted on 10/04/2002 12:57:08 PM PDT by winin2000
It's official folks!
Carl Cameron just announced the first RAT internal poll has Forrester being trounced by eleven points! And I got a sick feeling they're gonna get away with it!

Well, the RATS pulled the charade off for a reason...and THIS is it.

Internet poll, interesting.

You believe a poll taken by and for lib/dems? When was the last time a DEM told the truth, anyway?
Just remember, Gore was up by an estimated poll of RAT manual recount vote-changers by around 5-10,000 votes before the Supremes inflicted Justice Maximus on the rodents!
What kind of poll was it? I'd be concerned if it was a legit poll, but if was push polling, I'd tend to say it was hogwash.

Not "internet", "internal"!

Thanks for the no link. Very useful post.
let me see the poll and I'll weigh the data myself.

No way it's the truth!

You can bet the polled this BEFORE they chose him or even pulled this stunt.
Of course an internal rat poll will show the rat winning... I mean, duh!
Yeah, like the DEMS would share it with you!
I don't think SCOTUS will take it and I'll be totally teed off AGAIN. This is an outrage. So much for voter backlash against what the DNC did.

The RATs wouldn't lie to us, would they?

More like, no way there is even a poll!

I'm surprised they didn't announce this sooner; it must have been KILLING them to wait 'the appropriate length of time so it won't look contrived."
GAWD I HATE THEM ALL!

Of course it is true. Kiss this senate seat goodbye unless Forrester quickly gets away from the litigation strategy and begins attacking Lautenberg in TV ads.
posted on 10/04/2002 1:03:44 PM PDT
It's probably overstated, but I can believe that Lautenburg is even or slightly ahead (3-5 points).
Why else would they have picked him?

But this is New Jersey! Don't the Dems own this state?

Actually, I agree with you, but IT'S NOT FAIR! DAMNIT, I'm sick of this!

The only chance Forrester has at this point is keeping Lautenburg off the ballot. Due to the DemocRATs cheating, there isn't time to run a reasonable campaign against him, and he has the greater name ID.

The pubbies better jump on this and start a poll of their own tonight!!! Let's see the truth!
Look at this!

Carl Cameron pointed out on Monday, or whenever it was that Torricelli withdrew, that ANY Democrat would be the favored candidate. If this is true, I guess the backlash against the Dems in New Jersey is not true. This is so disgusting.

No kidding, although I think this is aimed more at the Forrester supporters to dishearten them as opposed to convincing everyone. I have to wonder how much of this was a "push poll."
posted on 10/04/2002 1:08:06 PM PDT
No this is great. The Dems defense in SCOTUS is that the GOP was not "harmed", with this poll showing around a 20 point difference between Torch and Laut there's clear harm to the GOP.

If this is a Fox poll its credible. If this is a internal Democratic poll, its a fraud. Either way, it won't matter. The Supreme Court is going to overrule this decision. Otherwise, all those primary votes mean nothing, so obviously "every vote doesn't count" for the Demonrats. And it would set a precedence that would allow the courts to decide who is going to be on the ballot in elections across the country, not the voters. If that isn't the beginning of a totalitarian system of government, I don't know what is. You might as well get rid of the Supreme Court if they don't rule this. This is at the foundation of our Constitution, the right to vote. It does illustrate just how far away liberals have gotten from the basic tenants of our Republic.

Forrester should be checking with the board that monitors campaign funds/usage
(can't think of the acronym) and ask if he gets to "start over" with use of a
full-campaign's worth of funds, now that he has to face a second opponent.

Absolutely right. I think all this was gamed out ahead of time by the 'Rats. Their initial gambit was to keep Torricelli viable by keeping the scandals buried by their friends in the media. When this scheme fell apart you can tell by the smooth transition to Lousyberg (the Pallone and others scrimmage was just a smokescreen) that this was their fallback plan. Lousyberg is well-known in Jersey and has a lot of money. They just did their bait-and-switch, and now what was a potentillay lost seat is theirs for the picking, assuming the USSC doesn't throw a wrench into the plans. But even if they do, what do the 'Rats have to lose by trying? Torricelli was going down anyway, so why not roll the dice and pull the wool over the sheeple's eyes one more time?
posted on 10/04/2002 1:11:05 PM PDT
I have to say that I do not believe the poll. After all that has been said on Limbaugh about people openly angry with Lautenberg, this poll cannot be right.
It's just another lie perpetuated upon the American public.
Besides, when the USSC takes the care, they will blow this out of the water!

And it's for the children.
Only for those lucky enough to get out of the womb.

They will, unless SCOTUS acts, and I don't think they will.
posted on 10/04/2002 1:12:13 PM PDT
No way, I do NOT believe it! Every article I have read about Dem reaction to what's going on has been primarily disgust for the whole thing. And Lautenberg hardly had a warm reception from the average joe on the way to work this morning as he tried to drum up some action at a Path station. He arrived, cameras in tow, and mostly people wouldn't even acknowledge him as they passed by to get their trains. A few who did had some negative words for him and the party.
If there is ANY truth to this, Forrester better get to hammering on Lautenberg's record regarding security issues because it stinks. It's a goldmine with regard to the fact that many, many victims and survivors of the WTC live(d) in coastal LIBERAL counties in NJ. Tell them that Lautenberg is soft on terrorism and cite how, and he may do some real damage.
Thanks for the ping!

Do we have any clue as to where these numbers come from?
I have an idea:
Clear View Cemetary (456 votes Loutenberg, 0 votes Forrester)
Peaceful Farms Retirement Home (674 votes Loutenberg, 0 votes Forrester)
Average N.J. citizens (12 votes Loutenberg, 905 votes Forrester, 57 still waiting for Democratic instructions)
Remove Dead and the Mentally Infirmed:
Results accurate to plus or minus 100,000 percent...
Humm...I don't feel so bad...
You can damn well bet it was a push poll! That was part of their action plan as far back as a month ago.
It was a Dem hired gun pollster who designed a poll to achieve the desired results.
posted on 10/04/2002 1:13:31 PM PDT
Soon lib/dems will be stealing popsicles from children and using the sticks as sex toys with interns who just happened to be dead because they knew too much about illegal campaign contributions. But not to worry, they'll find a judge to let 'em off.....
Yep. Add to that the turntable effect this poll has. The Pubs have been saying that the Rats motive was their fear of losing--polling. Now watch the Rats use the same argument against the Pubs case before the SCOTUS.
I posted this the other night:
Actually, my original thread was "Lautenberg up by 10!" and then I said to expect that as a news item very soon. The moderator yanked it and said the title was misleading. Oh well.

And they will say "this poll proves the will of the people of NJ." Watch them use this poll as evidence. I wonder if we can find out if they ran this poll last week too.
At least we know about how many ballot boxes they are going to stuff with fraudulant votes. Are there enough freeper's in NJ to do some poll watching in key areas?
Don't believe a dem sponsored poll. Let me give you a few examples:
In the race between Sununu and Shaheen in NH, a democrat sponsored poll shows Shaheen with a 2 point lead (46-44). However, another poll (ARG) shows Sununu with a 19 point lead.
In Texas, the democrat sponsored poll shows Kirk with a 4 point lead, but a Zogby poll shows Cornyn with a 12 point lead.
See the following site for more poll results:
Relax. This poll is wrong!

I was push polled last night for a state assembly seat. Before I let the person start, I told him that if this was a push poll, that I was hanging up. He started in on a song & dance...and that's when I hung up.

People going to work aren't a 'rat demographic to begin with.
