From his taxpayer-funded exile in Harlem, William "The Zipper" Clinton lives the good life of a deposed monarch. His wife has been installed in the U.S. Senate. His bagman, Terry McAuliffe, runs the Democratic National Committee. And publishers proffer millions for his memoirs chronicling conquests over a multitude of maidens. Hollywood starlets and interns still coo his name. When not vowing to "fight and die" for Israel (something he wouldn't do for America), he hints at playing the Apollo. Meanwhile, the party he left behind must deal with his "no rules" legacy.

Well ... I somewhat agree with you about the current situation.

However, the internal polls show the dems are in very deep trouble. It's no wonder they are so testy and arrogant to the President.

But ... if the elections on 11-5 are any key - and I think they will be, these elections could send a resounding message to the dems - which is: we don't want your brand of governing anymore. That's why I said the x42 era would be over then. Hillary knows that if the dems don't prevail in November, she hasn't a prayer in 2004. She's lusting for the WH so much, she's certainly got her fingers in all these races which are challenging the dems majority in the Senate. And ... that's why they're getting down and dirty (as with the NJ issue).

I know it may be a longshot, but I don't think its as much of a longshot as it would have been a year ago. Also, Rush mentioned on his show last week that the public has "tuned the dems out". I do tend to agree with his assessment.

As for those dems who went to Iraq - they are being slammed every way possible for their actions, even by other dems. That cannot be a good thing for the dems.

As for x42 shooting off his big mouth about Tony Blair - it's just x42's way of getting back at GW. It's so childish. To me it says, Tony was my (x42) friend before he was yours (GW). Jealousy is all that motivates x42. People see this for what it really is. And ... the public also sees that the President does not speak evil of Clinton - even though there is plenty of ammunition available. The President has only mentioned the "previous administration" a few times.

The x42 influence IS GONE! They still think they have influence, but they don't. It's just the media who tries to keep it going. However, most of us realize that too - so we're not influenced by it.

The media campaign to salvage some semblance of a "legacy" for the klintoons continues.

"60 Minutes" just aired an interview with two klintonistas who served on his national security (LOL!) staff who've written a book detailing how they were kept out of the loop by Freeh's FBI DESPITE klintoon's srenuous efforts to get them in. They stated that Freeh held klintoon "in contempt." (Duuhhhh!)

They claim that because the FBI was INVESTIGATING the klintoons, the klintoons had little leverage in the situation and klintoon's efforts to "get" bin Laden were frustrated as a result.

These klintoon flaks also told Dan Blather that although much of the senior military leadership considered klintoon a good president (GUFFAW!), the lower ranks held him in contempt. (Double Duuhhhh!!)

The only legacy for which the klintoons will be remembered has just been cleared up from around lower Manhattan, just east of Shirly Highway in Arlington, VA and a field in PA!

And it WASN'T because klintoon couldn't get more information from the traditional sources: It was because he was

1. Distracted by the several hundred scandals in which he became entangled;
2. His list of lies grew daily and just keeping up with them consumed 16 hours of his workday; and
3. When he wasn't being deposed, fielding calls from lawyers, leaning on FOBs for the $ to PAY the legal bills, keeping up with his Lie List, he was groping female visitors or getting gum bumps and hummers from willing interns in the Oral Office.

And while Bush ain’t perfect, Hitlery is questioning HIS integrity?

That's the heart of it, isn't it? Clinton was so busy chasing women and illegal money that he neglected his duties.

Just like he did in Arkansas.
And our "watchdog" press- and their handmaidens in the entertainment industry- were so busy marvelling over the adroitness of the performance that they didn't bother to look behind the curtain to see that the Emperor had no clothes.

I truly believe that when we look back, the 1990's will be remembered as

"The Decade of Fraud(s)..."

Dot-bombs, Martha Stewart, the clintons, whatever- just one cheat and liar after another...

And the Hell of it is, the information is out there for all to see- all you need is web access and a little time, and you can amass a ton of evidence, stories, people, places, names, and events that utterly Damn the clintons and the hoards of enablers who still worship them... but most people still seem to get their news via soundbites from their stupid TV sets...

Wake up, Ollie. The Clinton legacy lives on thanks to W. The Clinton era will stretch out interminably because the party which could have opposed it and put a stop to it suffered from a terminal case of "lack of sack".

Most of the efforts of the GOP seem to be devoted to propping up the democrats so they won't fade from the scene.

It's amazing and appalling, isn't it? All those names, dates, events, and issues tied together... and it's an old post. If the News Jackals of the press would just investigate, they would find much more, for like all things clintonian, what you see there is just the tip of the iceberg...
