Send A Student To Minnesota! DSAs national electoral project this year is the Minnesota Senate Election. Together with YDS, DSAs Youth Section, we are mobilizing to bring young people to Minnesota. Minnesota is one of the few states that allow same day voter registration. We will therefore focus our energy on registering young Minnesotans. Wellstone will need a high percentage of young people to register and vote for him if he is to stave off the campaign that Bush, the Republicans and the Greens are waging against him. He is the Rights Number One electoral target.
Because we are focusing on issue-based voter registration, this electoral work can be supported by tax-deductible contributions. The DSA FUND is soliciting tax-deductible contributions to support this project. Contributions are needed to underwrite the costs of transportation as well as providing a stipend for expenses; housing is being donated. You can contribute online with a Master Card or VISA. To contribute, simply choose from one of the amounts listed below. Click on the red dot and you will be taken to a secure server to input your credit card information. Our online order system does not allow us to let you fill in an amount, so if the choices we offer are less than what you want to contribute simply make more than one transaction until you reach the total you want to contribute.

To contribute offline: Make your check payable to DSA FUND, indicate Minnesota Project on the check or in your letter and return it to DSA FUND, 180 Varick St., 12th fl., NY, NY 10014 |

If there has been a serious increase in efforts to stop election fraud, surely this would be considered an easy target, right?

Bye-bye, Wellstone.
To: gubamyster
I sure hope that they are informing these "students" of the penalties for voter fraud.

No problem. If I were one of the students being targeted, I'd sign up, take their free transportation (consuming funds they would otherwise have used on a true believer), and then voted for the Pubbie, thus negating one additional student.

Does anyone know if the Civil Rights Division of the FBI or DOJ has an e-mail address? Methinks they are violating the voting rights of Minnesota residents with this...

Somebody needs to get this info out to Hugh Hewitt. He has been blasting Wellstone for months, but when a caller mentioned this yesterday, Hugh didn't seem to know about it or believe the caller.

Wait just one minute!
Why hasn't anyone considered that is all about the "voter's rights" - i.e. maybe these are minority students who would otherwise have been prevented from freely voting in FLA, MI, MO, etc. - HmmMMMMM?

Minnesota is one of the few states that allow same day voter registration. We will therefore focus our energy on registering young Minnesotans. I hold no brief for Socialists, but what they're saying is that they need people from across the country to head up to Minnesota to register voters, not to register as voters.

Republicans do this too. I don't need any examples of Republicans doing it to know this. I just know it. It's one of our Libertarian Party ditz rules. </ sarcasm>

The Corrupt Trial Lawyer Party, oops I meant Democrat Party, has been totally Clintonized. In other words the Democrat Party is nothing more than a criminal organization, engaged in every conceivable type of fraud, theft, and unethical activity.
The Democrats stand for nothing except treason, power, and illegal millions of dollars stolen by the leadership. Think of the millions taken by DNC head Terry McAulfee (insider trading of Global Crossings and many other crooked deals), the Clintons ("book advances," pardons for sale, & God knows what else), and the "Revrund" Jackson (extortion of major firms).

At one time MN was known for its "clean" elections and politics. But if the Democrats think they COULD lose, they will pull out all stops to keep their "DFL" in power. Let's hope that Coleman does pull the upset to hand the Senate to the Republicans, but I think it is a most remote possibility that he can do so: just too many liberals in MN.
