You just unwittingly reminded me that I have to go out to West Falls Church this week to my bank's corporate headquarters for some job training. Safety training! I'll have to dodge sniper fire to do two days of safety training! I'll have to wait around on bus benches and everything. I'm usually a reasonable, stoic person...but I can't help the fact that this makes me nervous. I hope it rains so I can hide behind my umbrella. Maybe I'll take my umbrella regardless of the weather. Anyway, pray extra hard for me on Wednesday and Thursday. Thanks :-)

The training site is where they have all of their classrooms and stuff. Besides, I know I'm overreacting, considering the odds, and if they sent a car for me, they'd have to figure out how to accommodate hundreds of other employees who go out there every day (bless their hearts). It's just that knowing intellectually that the odds are stacked significantly in your favor and actually feeling safe are two different things. If anybody out there is afraid of flying, it's the basically the same feeling. You know the odds of being in a car crash are far greater, but that doesn't make you feel any better at 35,000 feet! All of your wonderful prayers and encouragement are very soothing, though, and I appreciate them tremendously.
