The Honorable Willie Brown and other San Francsico dignitaries have
been invited to attend.

The E/AIF is an anti-racist civil rights organization fighting the

I hear you. I am 34 and a politics/history/infojunike. I had heard of the Zebra murders maybe 4 years ago from a close friend in his mid 40s (now in his late 40s). I had never heard of this before, though I am an east coaster, far from SF. My friend schooled me on this crimewave one night at dinner - we used to work together, worked late, and share interest in politics/trends/etc.

Actually we would matter of factly speak of impending terror attacks in nyc, well before 9-11, though most disregarded us as conspiracy nuts and fringe people. Well, maybe our discussions on Area 51 prejudiced them a bit! :-)

Regardless, on 9-12-2001, they quieted down a bit.

You are correct, but that information only came out during the last few hours. On the Lehrer News Hour, Ray Suarez still thought they might be stepfather and stepson.

Malcolm was the Number Two man of the Black Muslims, but he had a break with Number One, Elijah Muhammud, and left the Muslims. People disagree on what led directly to the Muslims killing Malcolm in 1965. Brother Louis X (today known as Min. Louis Farrakhan) is supposed to have said that such a man deserved to die. But I have little doubt that Malcolm's killers felt they were doing Elijah Muhammad's will -- and that they were right.

With your link, you dishonestly suggest to people who didn't hit the links in the article that the posted author 1. stole his article from James Lubinskas, and 2. that you are setting things aright.

The posted author inserted not one, but two links to Lubinskas, which is where you got the link you re-posted. If Stix had stolen Lubinskas' work, do you think he would have inserted two links to the same article! Duh! You didn't set anything aright, but rather misrepresented both articles. Lubinskas didn't write the "original article"; his article appeared in 2001. The original article would have appeared some time between 1974 and 1979, and most likely was written by Clark Howard, whose 1979 book is obviously the source for both articles.

You don't by any chance work at the New York Times, do you?
