I suggest you read up on it and see where the golden dawn society utilized the wiccan method to open weak minds up for satanic intervention.

I'm not afraid of them, I pray for them. Jesus Christ is my Lord.

I hope and pray that whole thing backfires on them. Do you remember the lady who sued to get prayer out of school? Her son is now a devout Christian.

This whole thing would be laughable, except that there are children involved, little children.

I am staying out of this debate for very good reasons.

Sir, I strongly suggest that you check your facts first.

That is like saying that the Roman Empire was founded upon American ideas.

Its time to read, Start with Theosphical house as a supplier in wheaton Illinois and read about the links between them all.

Golden Dawn, Wicca, Aquarian Gospels, Stonhedge, Keys to the Mysteries by Abbe Louis Constant aka Eliphas Levi,
many of the beliefs integrate.

I have read and studied for 30 years the religions of the world. This is my take, no one says you should agree.

But Moral Values can be tossed aside very easily when one is caught up in the search for truth. I for one have found peace and truth in the Judeo-Christian teachings.

This so called whacko group will NOT hurt children, MORON!!

In Wicca, a child is the utmost in innocence and it the parents responsibility to make sure that the child is not hurt nor it's innocence destroyed by such sexual deviancies.

Children are not sexual beings and therefore should not be treated as such. Sex and children do not go together and are not put up with. Any deviants that tried would be prosecuted so fast that it would make their heads spin.

Unlike the catholic church that tries to hide such behavior by their priests.

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!"

Isaiah 5:20-21

I think this tactic is described in chapter one of the DNC playbook. I've seen them use it non-stop the past 10 years.

Sorry, when you start name calling people that you do not understand, you sound like a typical iditic religiously intolerant A-hole.

I am what I am, you are what you are, if you need to be a christian, well hurray for your side, but to call me names and be intolerant of me because I am not is not only ridiculous, it is moronic.

See the first amendment of the constitution. I have the freedom to be pagan, just as you have the freedom to be a christian. and to start spouting off when it is obvious you don't have a clue, well, expect me to get pissed.

Golden Dawn, Wicca, Aquarian Gospels, Stonhedge, Keys to the Mysteries by Abbe Louis Constant aka Eliphas Levi

Thirty years wasted.

Golden Dawn, thought up by Crowley and Regardie. Based loosely on jewish quabbala with a little egyptian mythos thrown in.

Wicca. Loosely based off of Celtic druidism by Gerald Gardner. Also split down with older traditions that have been extant since before the Inquisition. Currently co-opted by every looney liberal cause out there.

Aquarian Gospels. If there is any evidence of some Christ figure writing his Gospel, in his own words, then I'm sure the Vatican would have already had it locked up in their vaults. It'd be right next to the Gospel of St. Thomas.

30 years and you never learned how to spell "Stonehenge"? No one is really sure who built the monument that stands there, nor what they used it for. Anyone who tells you they know for certain is probably lying.

I wouldn't have bothered replying, but you sounded like you needed help.

Yup, many are whacked and use the term Wicca very loosely.

If you dare to claim that you are Wicca, you darn better know exactly what you are talking about.

Personally, I am sick and tired of idiots abusing this religion for their own personal or political gains.

I can be a moral person without threats of eternal damnation, it is obvious that you cannot.

Therefore it is good that you are a christian, and it good that I am not. I take PERSONAL responsibility for ALL my actions, what about you? or is it still the old "the devil made me do it" attitude.

Sorry, don't mean to sound intolerant, because I am not.

Some people need threats to be moral, others do not. I happen to not need those threats.

Not to mention the little detail that Crowley was not Wiccan.

The dude was a drug addict. Some of his stuff was usefully, but you always have to take his words with a grain of salt.

Why do you say that. I've done quite a bit of research on wicca, my second favorite religion, and almost every time I come across a male into wicca he's a homo. I keep thinking I can have an interesting conversation with a wiccan but that is never the case. With male wiccans it seems to be about meeting other homos. With females, it's just an anti male anti christianity chip on their shoulder though they are very often hetero.

Personally, I'm glad to see something like this. The BSA is getting way too narrow/closed minded. Hmmm... somehow they begin to remind me of the Catholic Church.

The BSA hasn't change a thing. Which policies do you think are narrow/closed minded? Not letting gay men go camping with our sons?

I never said you should belive what I believe.
I have given facts that I have derived from my own research
whether the writers of the books are not in agreement with your form of belief does not mean that many people who have followed these writers have not taken up those beliefs.

Much like the Catholic Church and many so-called christian denominations to a Christian like myself, I do not agree with them, My concern is such that if we have Wiccans of the beliefs some ritulistic cults have taken on, we would not be helping children by driving them into their arms.

I only try and focus on the teachings as laid out in the Judeo-Chrisitan Bible, that does not mean I am saying we should do away with freedom of speech and religion, after all the test here is to use our free will and make choices,
I do not agree that alternatives like Wicca is a better choice than the Boy Scouts and thier foundations.

Give me a fricking break, it is obvious that you haven't a clue what you are talking about.

Most male Wiccans that I know are happily married to a FEMALE, and have 2 or more children. I do know of some gay wiccans, but a majority? NOT by a long shot.

I believe that being gay is wrong, it is against nature, therefore if I do run across a gay pagan, I will normally keep my distance. but most Gay pagans do not spout it. They keep it in the closet, because it is no ones business but their own.

If a pagan wishes to be a Boy Scout and admits that they are pagan, they CANNOT join the boy scouts.

The boy scouts have EVERY right to do that, but Pagans have EVERY right to start their own groups if they feel that it will be advantageous to their children.

Therefore the Spiral Scouts are a wonderful idea as far as I am concerned. and if you do not understand the spiral, you need to do a bit more research into paganism.

I understand that if someone wishes to accept alternative ways of seeking the truth, they can, but taking on the tried and true American Christian values of the Scouts and attacking them for it is no different.

So when the shoe is on the other foot you dont like it.

If I remember my Order of the Arrow and Eagle scout stuff, much of it was based on Native American (Indian) culture and values. Respecting each other, loving the eart--that sort of stuff. I spent a couple of years getting booked to do Indian Dances at scout meetings. Decent pocket money for hopping around with a dress on.

Pretty pagan if you ask me.

Satanic values as outlined by Lavey and Crowley are the final destruction of mans free will and moral values,
with a final out come of men destroying each other like maggots! So Satan can devour their souls.

whatever.

BTW - You might want to read up on Pagan/Wiccan. They don't BELIEVE in Satan/Devil/whatever you want to call him, so it would REALLY be hard for them to worship him.....

Living and learning about nature is a good thing, no matter what religion you belong to.

Just remember what Ronald Regan said on another topic:

TRUST BUT VERIFY

Wise word, that I have always lived by.

Having been a Boy Scout, I do tend to get rather upset when they are attacked. Unfortunatly, that is not today's topic.

Good for you. You seem happy with your religion. Now follow your books advice and "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

You do realize that the whole "suffer not a witch to live" stuff is a translation error don't you? Original word meant "poisoner". Since "witches" made potions, and weren't exactly favorites of early Church fathers, they got pinned with it.

LeVay was just some ghoul that wanted a way to espouse a secular humanist (ie; Man is God) position in the most flamboyant way possible by utilizing the antithesis of the Christian religion. He even co-opted the inverted pentacle which was an old Temple of Solomon symbol for a "focus on the physical realm". Stirring the batter even further, he combined in some Babylonian mythology and called it the Sign of Baphomet.

15 years? Time for a refresher course.
